Holly Lodge Boutique B&B is located in the heart of beautiful North Norfolk, just 15 minutes from the coast. We have six individually designed rooms to choose from: Three 'cottages' situated away from the main house in the old stable blocks and on ground level, Country (double bed), Colonial (Super king), Claret (king). The other three are in the main house and on the first floor. These rooms are new to 2019 and are designed for pure relaxation and luxury. All rooms have en-suite shower rooms but the Holly Room also has a bath. Cole & Lewis bathroom amenities, Nespresso machine, tea and coffee making facilities, 32 inch flat-screen smart television, Bluetooth Roberts Radio and a little welcome treat. Breakfast is served in our garden conservatory. A delicious continental array of cereals, granola, seasonal fruits, fresh bread, pastries, and juices are laid out allowing our guests to help themselves, and if you still have room, we also serve a full and wholesome cooked English breakfast, using only the finest of North Norfolk's locally sourced produce. *** Please note we do not do a meet and great service. All guest will be sent a code to enter their room. ***

What a place. Felt as if it is in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful. Only stayed one night as we were visiting the Thursford Christmas Spectacular, just a few hundred yards away, but we certainly would have loved to have stayed longer. Lovely informative welcome when we arrived, beautiful comfy room in the annex and breakfast met all our expectations. The whole visit was topped off by the friendliness of the staff. Just a pity that it is so far from where we live.

This was our third stay at Holly Lodge , we stayed with friends . We were greeted with tea , coffee and biscuits . We stayed in Holly and room looked lovely as usual. The attention to detail was good as ever however when I got into bed I found the bedding a bit past it’s best as was the mattress. We went to breakfast at 9.0 and although the wait staff were really nice however the breakfast was a disappointment. The sausages & poached eggs were over cooked, I suspect they were cooked earlier and put under a heat lamp or similar. I have now discovered that the original owner has sold it to Thursford Enterprises and it shows . I’m not sure that we will stay again which is sad .

Booked this accommodation due to its location next to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular which we were attending but what a find it was. We requested to use the Lodge parking while we went to the show and to book in after the show but on arrival were shown immediately to our room which was a welcome bonus. The house is beautifully furnished and set out with a comfortable lounge, with honesty box facilities for drinks and snacks and in addition a conservatory where breakfast is served. Our very large cosy room, “Ivy”one of four on the first floor, overlooked the front of the house and garden and contained an extra large bed and twin sinks within the room with the additional facilities contained with an additional space at the end of the room. There were extra bonuses with free wine, mince pies and biscuits for both guests which were well received. A preordered cooked breakfast was served together with an extensive continental selection by staff who were very attentive. The Lodge also contained additional accommodation in the out buildings and Shepherds Hut. A must stay for Spectacular visitors or anybody wanting to visit that particular part of Norfolk.…

Our stay at Holly Lodge could not have been better. From the great welcome provided by a staff member to the following morning's breakfast could not be beaten. My wife and I stayed in the Country Cottage and the facilities provided were amazing. If you are going to the Thursford Christmas show the lodge is only a 3 to 5 minute walk and is the place to try and book. Would we go again, most certainly.

Holy lodge is a stunning b&b the decor is just lovely the staff are incredibly friendly the breakfast was perfect mum and I both loved our visit and both agree it could be a weekend away just visiting holy lodge. I can’t wait to come back and to bring my husband.

So comfortable. Lovely little cottages. Next door to the fabulous Thursford Xmas Spectacular. First class amenities, staff and food. Excellent Thai food down the road at Crayfish Inn. Could not find fault.

Such a shame we booked only one night at this lovely property! Traditional decor but with all mod cons, beautifully decorated for Christmas (we were visiting for the Spectacular). We had Mistletoe, a super-comfortable room with some extra little touches, a huge bathroom and spotlessly clean, as were all the areas. A cosy lounge (which we were lucky enough to have to ourselves for the evening!) and excellent breakfast, cooked and served by two lovely ladies, rounded it all off. Absolutely nothing to find fault with - would definitely stop here again ourselves if back in the area and have no hesitation in recommending to others.

We found this B&B purely by chance when booking the Thursford Christmas Spectacular and it proved to be an absolute gem. We parked our car there before the matinee performsnce and were met and greeted by lovely Rosie. What a welcome - best we’ve ever had and we travel fairly regularly. Country Cottage was our place for the night. There was complimentary Nespresso coffee, small bottles of wine and all the toiletries you’d ever require. The lounge area had games, TV and various snacks which were available for guests. You just had to sign what you’d taken in a book and then pay at checkout. We chose our breakfast the night before and such pretty tables set out in the conservatory/dining room with the names of our respective cottages on them. The buffet part of breakfast was fabulous. Fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries and Sue, who had just started that day was great, as were all the ladies. The cooked breakfast was perfect and cooked to your choice (I like crispy bacon!). We will definitely return. Rosie is due to retire at Christmas and it will be well deserved as she has created a great team at Holly Lodge. Thank you all for a great experience.…

We stayed at Holly Lodge after seeing the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. Our room was absolutely spotless, very well equipped and the bed was oh so comfy. It was decorated excellently in a rustic style. The ladies looking after the lodge were very friendly and welcoming, and the brekko was amazing. Highly recommended!

Easy to find and great communication on service and facilities. Very clean and fresh room, plenty of tea, coffee, milk pots etc. Even bottled water and two small bottles of wine left out for you. Bed was very comfortable. Lovely breakfast, staff were really friendly and courteous. We had a lovely relaxing stay here and would definitely book again.
