My wife and I for over 20 years used to stay at premises nearby in Winterton with round cottages - I won’t name them! They kept putting the price up each year and apart from a refresh of the roundhouses you got nothing for the increased price. Their prices for 2023 rocketed. We come and stay in Norfolk at: Easter, Summer, October half term and December for the run up to Christmas. This year as a result of the rip off extortionate price rises at the previous place we stayed we thought we’d try Hemsby beach. To be frank fully honest we wish we discovered Hemsby beach a long time ago. The price was very fair, nightly entertainment, extremely polite helpful staff who can’t do enough for you to help you enjoy and get the most from your stay and the accommodation was genuinely faultless. We enjoyed our stay at Easter so much we came back at Summer and that was another excellent stay so we came for the October half term with our youngest grandson and he like my wife and I had a superb time - we will definitely be back in 2024 A genuine and sincere thank you to Tracy on reception and the general manager Justin - you are a real credit to the company!…

Booked via hoseason for a week with two kids and dog , very cheap hence I had no high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised Caravan was basic but clean, everything you need to do basic cooking Whole park is nice and clean and looked after Plenty to do around the park, swimming pool, soft play, arcades including evening entertainment (bingo, and shows and kids disco) also additional activities for small charge, which we have not done as we went couple days to gr Yarmouth Only short walk to beach Staff very nice We had lovely stay

Nice Park, quite big. Good location for the beach. Just a short walk. Neither me or the children really into the evening entertainment, so we cannot comment on this. We did book the Archery activity and this was fun, well run and the instructors were a good laugh. We didn't use the on site facilities other than that as we spent our time mostly up and down the coast. Visit Horsey Gap if you can, and Horsey Windpump. Winterton is also good to visit. Lovely beaches, lots of seals to be seen already. Caravan in Barton was good. Not lacking anything. Everything of a good working standard. Really pleasant stay.

booked gold 3 pet friendly, ( read reviews before hand so knew decking area did not have dog gate so brought somthing with me so not a problem) nice size decking with bench and table ( sadly wet wether ) didn’t get to sit out but over looked lovely green area , very pretty location, caravan clean and spacious, had every thing needed ( only advice would be loose carpets. in pet friendly ) boiler stopped working one morning but 10 mins after calling reception the guy was here and sorted. huge park very spread out , lots outdoor stuff for kids to get tired, staff all friendly , the whole place very clean and grounds well kept. only advice can give is the pool tables are over at the yacht club which a little annoying when we were over club house as older kids could have made use of them , also its football season and the yacht club closed 9 pm so cant show full game needs to stay open for sports tv, day time the show bar could hold family quizzes ect as weather not great this tome year. but over all great place to holiday but next time we aim for accommodation with a hot tub as seeing others made us a little jealous. definitely recommend people book. …

We come every year. The site is clean, accommodation is clean, staff are friendly. I think if prices for food and drink weren't fair(should be lower) i think I would give a 4 star. The other star off is because of the entertainment team in the evening. They need a manager to push them to create material, ive seen the same show now twice, 1 day apart. Believe they only have one show, I'm sure they practiced but it's not really good enough that we paid alot for our holiday and get the same 20 minute show. With loading up on expensive drinks in the venue. Everyone around me including staff were questioning, why the repeat and heavily hyped repeat, even staff were laughing and mentioned to us and some other people this is the best they can do, its just embarrassing, this gave alittle entertainment. I feel bad saying but the truth. Was a bit funny though. I will come back as love the park and staff are friendly and helpful, hopefully the entertainment crew will be sorted and new material in place in future, as the entertainment manager Harwood needs training, clue is he needs to be entertaining aswell…

We booked this caravan holiday via Hoseasons. We booked because it was a "dog friendly" caravan site. Little did we know that a "dog friendly" caravan meant you got the crapiest caravans going. Even though you pay extra for the "dog friendly" caravan!! I have to say the caravan had the most uncomfortable bed ever. I think the last time the mattress was replaced must have been 100 years ago. Talk about springs sticking into you, it was no joke. We weren't allowed in the main bar where entertainment was on. The caravan as always in a "dog friendly" caravan had the most uncomfortable seating ever. The lounge radiator was rusty as hell. Just an undesirable place to spend a week's holiday. Won't be waisting money going here again. Suppose it was my fault booking what I thought was a cheap holiday!!! If you've got a dog avoid this site…

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay here with us, we are sorry you didn't feel you had the 5 star holiday you expected. We are saddened to see that you found your bed uncomfortable but please be assured that this would have been rectified should you have contacted the bookings team in our reception whilst syoll on site, the deteriation of the radaitor has been reported and we will have that sorted. Thank you for letting us know. Our pet friendly accomodation is the same as non pet throughout the grades we have here so we apologise you found yours lacking. Although we understand the frusration you have experienced in the Quaterdeck bar we have to think of all our guests and the pets themselves in what can be a very loud and busy enviroment. Your furry family members are however allowed in our Quarterdeck Resturant and Bar, The Yacht Club and our Coastal Cafe. Apologies again. We hope this helps!

we have stayed at Richardson's hemsby beach several times over the last couple of years but i would like to comment about the experience for our stay ( 04/09/2023 ) we had a couple of issues that could not be dealt with on our arrival, this did not take away from our holiday but i wanted to email them on our return to find out what could be done in the future. the email and phone response we received from Emma birchall-goggins ( guest experience team manager ) was amazing. we travel a lot, we post reviews on different forums and i have to say the level of customer care from Emma was the best i have ever experienced. the issue we had was a rather trivial one about the cleanliness of our van, but it wasn't trivial to Emma, she looked into it, rectified it and acted with the utmost professionalism. but this isn't just a review of our time there, it is a general overview, the site is clean, well maintained and quite at night, the location is perfect and the investment Richardson's are continuing to make in the area has to be commended. we will go back next year and we will keep flying the flag for the work they do in the local community. whoever is running Richardson's hemsby, hold on to staff like Emma birchall-goggins!!!…

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Hemsby Beach Holiday Park. We were greeted warmly by the reception staff who gave us all the information we needed for our stay. The map definitely came in handy! We stayed in one of the lodges with a hot tub and were very impressed. Bright, light and spacious and really well laid out for our needs. The housekeeping standards were very good - immaculately clean and well presented. The hot tub was a real luxury, as were the smart TVs in the lounge and both bedrooms. We ate in the restaurant and, we didn't realise, but we arrived 10 minutes before last orders. We felt a bit bad for that but the staff, who could have been a bit grumpy about a late order for 8 people, were excellent. The food was very good and superb value for money. My cheese and bacon burger was very tasty and the pizzas ordered by other members of the family looked amazing! The restaurant itself was had a nice atmosphere, and again, was really clean and well-presented. Overall we had a terrific weekend at Hemsby Beach Holiday Park and would highly recommend it.…

Nice stay in the caravan - clean, tidy and comfortable. Lacking a few essential kitchen equipments, didn’t have a chopping board, scissors or oven tray which made any type of cooking difficult. Site very nice overall and loved being close to the beach, good to see security about who were friendly and chatty. Enjoyed evening entertainment and the effort the team put in even when out of peak season, Ellie and Evie were lovely and great dancers! Food and restaurants very disappointing, always shut early, yacht club shut at 7/7.30pm, we were the last ones in and made to feel rushed… bartender shut the door just as we’d stepped out of it, also overheard them being rude and unhelpful for another customer which is off putting! Tried the quarterdeck restaurant instead, we booked this stay as restaurants had good vegan options but ended up having vegan fish and chips three nights in a row due to not having the other options available which is really disappointing. Expecting a proper fish and chips was a shame when it came with fries not chips… mushy peas curry sauce etc not available either! My partner was also disappointed paying £15 for a pizza which was Chicago town.. as this is a frozen pizza you’d hope vegan pizzas could be easily frozen and stocked too. All food fried/ fast food vibe, would be nice to have a nice restaurant with good quality food especially for the prices paid! Not much else in the area and had booked especially to not have to worry about finding options as we thought they’d be better at catering for vegans. Did complain about the lack of vegan options/ sauces after it had happened a few times in a row and wasn’t really helped then sent my dinner out with sachets of tartar sauce on my plate of vegan food, which is full of egg and not vegan at all (concerning) good job I don’t have any serious allergies. During this meal was made to feel awkward and rude staff making comments/ very unhelpful.…

Lovely little family weekend. The park is huge, we didnt realise how many holiday homes were onsite . Our accommodation was very modern, clean and spacious. The whole site was very clean, staff were constantly keeping up with Park maintenance. All staff we come across during our stay were polite and cheerful, particularly a lovely lady called Tara, who made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We throughly enjoyed our stay, the hot tub was fantastic and again spotless and ready to go. We can't wait for our next visit!
