Beautiful country pub in the most idyllic village. Had afternoon tea, evening meal and breakfast and couldn't fault any of it. Stayed in a four poster room with roll top bath and can't wait to return.

Visited for Sunday lunch with family. Service was friendly and efficient, a wine list was offered without having to ask. Roast beef was very tasty. Lovely restaurant, good atmosphere, would love to return.

Very lucky find. Stayed recently on our way to the port of Dover, and with an early morning start we bedded here for the night. Clean room and bathroom, good enough for the job. Coffee and tea making facilities. Restaurant service and food were very good for us, for the evening. Our food was enormous and very tasty. Will stay... More

I am more than happy to wait but some acknowledgement that we were there would have been nice. My husband introduced himself and was... More

The staff were rude and had no time to help us so we had some food instead while they made up our room at 8pm!!! The food arrived an... More

An out of the way spot worth finding. A beautiful village that time has passed by (location of many period piece film and TV shoots) sits just up the hill. The main road is some distance leaving this spot quiet and undisturbed. The Inn is an old roadhouse/hostelry and you can imagine the stage coaches holding overnight before heading out... More
