It's the first time I've been a guest of this hotel. I had some business locally and decided to book here as I have read good reviews. And the reviews were right. Nice chic hotel, very generous free parking. One of the best things I liked here is that the restaurant is on the other side of the parking so even if there are events that go late into the evening, the hotel guests are not disturbed by any noise. I have a very shallow sleep and any noise however faint will wake me up. That was not the case for the nights I've stayed here. Beautiful green spaces as much as the eyes can see, 3 golf courses, great landscape. However, there are other hotels with similar great characteristics. What I felt made this hotel special was the attentiveness and helpfulness of all staff, from the start to finish. Professionalism and friendliness second to none of the staff and I would like to mention George from reception (nothing was too much to ask and he gladly helped) and Liga from breakfast that greeted me with a beautiful smile and after the first day remembered exactly what I have ordered and how I wanted them done and she made sure everything is 100% as I like it even without having to say it. They are both an asset to the hotel. Again, my warmest regards to George and Liga for making this stay so pleasant, I will surely return here.…

We booked a short 2 night stay ( 3 rounds of golf) for 4 of us , sharing twin rooms. Although the weather was a bit mixed, we had a great time. It had obviously rained very heavily for a few days before as the courses were very wet on the lower areas. However, the greens were good but the bunkers rather poor and like little lakes. The 3 nine holes are varied and present a good challenge. The accommodation was very good and being adjacent to the course was fantastic. The (slightly) limited golf break menu was ok and the breakfast very good. One thing that the management should be commended for was the attitude and friendliness of all the staff, both in the hotel and clubhouse. Everybody was polite, accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be revisiting again, hopefully when the weather is better. Thank you for looking after us so well, we all appreciated your warm welcome…

Clean and tidy, well organised. Good breakfast. Golf course was excellent too, good condition fairways and greens. If I was being picky then the bunkers could do with more sand in them. Food at dinner was good, wine choice limited and somewhat overpriced for what it was, but that wouldn’t stop me coming back again

Great venue for a short golf break. Weather prevented us from playing all 3 loops but the Lakes and Parks courses are wonderful to play. Nice greens and well maintained bunkers, despite the heavy rain, and lush fairways made for a great couple of days golf. The hotel caters for golfers, some quite large groups but still not a problem for couples. Good food and comfortable rooms make for a very pleasant trip away. We will be back.

Beautiful. Clean and spacious bedrooms. They state king-size beds but they seemed more like super king which was wonderful. All staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. Loads of free parking. WIFI free too. All food very nice .

A group of 9 lady golfers stayed and played at Sandford Springs Hotel and Golf Club, this past week. The hotel was excellent, staff were friendly and extremely helpful, Sandford Springs has three 9-hole golf courses in excellent condition. You can play 9 or 18 holes each day. 3 very different 9s all with there own challenges well maintained with nice greens my favourite was the woodland Lovely hotel welcoming staff nice rooms with good bathrooms nice breakfasts in the morning The evening meals were very limited in choice and were very underwhelming in fact a bit taste less the club house bar had a good early morning menue but this changed at 12.00 and was very strange after that no sandwiches if you wanted one of those you had to return to the half way house. I would go again as I liked the courses and hotel but would probable eat evening meal off site

Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed the golf courses, the hotel and found the staff welcoming and friendly. We constantly update our menus and have changed it since your visit. The menu you refer to was our terrace menu, cooked from our outside kitchen and pizza oven. The full menu is now back in operation which includes sandwiches, amongst many other favourites. I have no doubt that your food experience will match the rest of your stay, should you return in the future. Regards

Had a lovely one night stop over, huge room and lovely big shower. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly. Sadly no gym so had a lovely run by crossing the main road and running into the village.

We stayed for one night as we were visiting Highclere Castle close by. The hotel is lovely and the room was a very good size and in excellent condition. The breakfast was fab and the staff we encountered during our stay were all very friendly. The only annoyance was the TV remote had been ‘locked’ down so much that barely any buttons actually worked, including the programme guide. At one stage we had to ask a staff member to override a message on the TV which couldn’t be removed with our remote. It might be worth the management looking at this so guests don’t face this issue.
