Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very welcoming team here, rooms are spacious, with some lovely extra touches. A couple of minor things but not enough to bother me or not fully recommend a stay here. Ate in the bar and food was good value and a good standard. Well done Team Pytchley

Great comments - thank you so much for taking the time to post, and for flagging up our excellent value. The smaller portions are really popular with all guests - and it makes eating house more affordable. Delighted that you enjoyed your visit. See you again soon.

We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary. The room was great with eveything you could wish for. The meals were wonderful and the complimentary bubbles much appreciated! The main thing that made the visit so pleasurable was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. absolutely brilliant!!

One o/night stay with my partner who was there on business. Warm towels, warm room. Comfy bed. Very nice food. Helpful staff. Easy parking. Plenty of little extras, tissues, toiletries, emergency box for forgotten items. Super breakfast. Did suggest a find and replace style book corner for those like me who took a book only to discover I had already read it. A most pleasant stay.

The hotel provided a convenient stopping off point on our journey south enroute to France. At least it would have been convenient had I not missed the poorly signed exit off the M1 (no mention of Crick or West Haddon) and driven an extra 20 miles plus! The hotel was as expected and a pleasant change to a Travelodge. Food at the hotel was excellent although the evening bar menu was a little limited, particularly for non-meat eaters. As regards the room, the only real downside was a bit of noise from the bar, although this subsided very shortly after closing time and access which was via a staircase that, no doubt rather grand in its day, was a little tricky to navigate for the less sure footed.

The Pytchley is not a fancy hotel but offered a solid hotel experience at a reasonable price. Our room was a good size with 2 beds and easy chairs. The bathroom was a good size and very clean. The full English breakfast was included in the price of an overnight stay. We ate Sunday lunch in the restaurant. It was tasty.

First impressions last a lifetime and i would like to say a big thank you to BECCA for a warm welcome and hospitality. Definitely a key member of the team. This establishment was packed with lots of friendly staff buzzing around waiting on tables. A big well done the chefs, the food came out piping hot and well within time allocated tome as they were so busy. The food was really tasty and plenty of it. Have been back several times. A* However my last visit was ruined by an odious creature!!! A member of staff who thinks she is all powerful and holly! Definitely above her station, who has no respect for her co members and customs included. We all have bad days, don’t always get on with members of the team and or customers. Diplomacy and or professionalism says you keep your council, don’t air your frustrations Irrespective of if you like them or not. Barking at younger team members is a nono, Bad apple with a big mouth.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here with my family. We were shown to our dining area table and informed about specials by Becca who was lovely and welcoming. The food was amazing, with fast and efficient service. However, the only small complaint is hearing how the young lady who took our orders throughout spoke to the other members of staff very disrespectfully. Overall a lovely place out for a family dinner
