They made us feel very welcome from the moment we entered into the wood fire smoke scented pub.
We were celebrating a 30 birthday and we aren’t the easiest bunch but the staff took us in their stride and couldn’t of accommodated us anymore than...More
We chose to stay here because we wanted to visit NT houses nearby.
The rooms were very good and service excellent.
Food was good but rather expensive for the quality.
Would stay here again and explore more of the restaurants/pubs in villages nearby.
Visited here for work. What a fantastic place. Middle of nowhere with lovely welcoming staff. Had a great meal and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever stayed in. Break fast next day was delicious and just so much to choose from....More
Very convivial atmosphere,excellent meal and staff are "super" helpful and attentive Orders were taken whilst we continued to enjoy our drinks in the bar which was very relaxed.I probably havent been there for 30 years,,so its good to see its thriving,when so many country hostelries...More
Just had a faultless 3 course meal at our favourite pub, the staff were excellent and the food was exceptional. We have been eating here for nearly 20 years and have always had exceptional food and service.
