This a great boutique hotel, a very relaxing place! We spent 4 nights during carnival (2015) and had a great time over there. The hotel is small, very "personal", clean and with a very helpful staff. The breakfast is included and even though it is not very varied, everything is fresh and tasty. It is located very close to Mantra...

A lovely boutique hotel where you can relax and unwind whilst visiting Punta Del Este. The Hotel is very small and this only adds to the beauty, the rooms are excellent (suggest you ask for one overlooking the garden and pool) lovely breakfast and very attentive staff. You will need a car if visiting here in order to get around....

From the minute we walked into the lobby I knew I would love this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and bright with a beautiful pool area. The rooms were large and clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I only we wish we had stayed more than 1 night.

One of the nicest places I've stayed . Cute building, very clean, spacious rooms and very friendly staff. What else one could need to have a great vacation. Arrived early in the morning and was given a charming room with a pool and courtyard view( check in is at 3 PM). Also had no problem with late check out (...

Loved this cute hotel in La Barra. Great pool, well sized rooms and get the outdoor jacuzzi if you can! We went with our family and all loved it. Is a walk (or taxi) to town unless you have a car. They can also organise good places to eat. Worth the price

They all made us feel special. Quiet setting with peaceful patio seating overlooking the pool. We are now in our last days in UY, and find of all the places we've been Kala is our benchmark to compare others to. Spacious rooms and bathrooms and good breakfast. Close to town and beaches set in lovely neighborhood.

This has been by far one of the cutest and nicest Hotel I've ever been. The front desk girls were spectacular, Shami that was at the desk as well was one the most wonderful people I've ever met. I can't express how amazed I was of this hotel. All the greek influence and the cozyness that makes you feel was...

My boyfriend and I spent two nights at Hotel Kala towards the end of February and absolutely loved it. First the hotel is adorable, and after a long and very hectic trip from NYC, it was wonderful to arrive to the hotel's serene setting, with its mostly white furniture and calming music in the lobby. The double room we took...

We had a very relaxing time at Kala hoel. It was very clean, had such a comfy bed. It was a peaceful place and staff were friendly. Shops, restaurants (though a small town) and beach were a close walk but far enough that you felt like you were somewhere tucked away.

We arrived at the Kala Hotel after a 5 hr wait at the domestic airport in BA. There were huge thunderstorms, and by the time we got to the hotel, we were quite crabby and in need of caffeine, food and everything else! The owner/proprietor, Paolo, made me coffee, sorted us out, and recommended the most fantastic restaurants nearby (Pura...

“The ground floor rooms that face the pool have a little less privacy because you can see inside your room from the pool. Staying on the second level is a bit better because you can keep your windows and curtains wide open.”
