Lovely but old and worn inn. Very friendly locals and a comfortable and clean room. Breakfast was great and landlady and landlord were lovely people. I would recommend for an overnight stop. Lounge bar full of local characters.

Pulled up outside the pub and was about to go in for something to eat when the other half noticed a woman with pieces of paper. She put one on the one other car in the car park. She then knocked on my window and said you can't park here unless you are going in the pub. This car park...

Stayed here for 2 nights in April when had family visiting from abroad. I didn't fancy sleeping on my couch so decided to come to The Stork as it's close to where I live. It's an old building, I used to drink here when much younger so I know it's not a luxury establishment. Room was ok, nothing fancy. Tea...

Friendly, quick service and really great pub roast dinner. All piping hot and lots of it. Reasonably priced too. Yes, the building is old and dark but - it's an old building! I was really impressed and would go again. The orange trifle was scrummy. I feel like I won't need to eat again for days!

I booked this hotel for 3 nights two rooms a twin and single. On arrival the bar area was dark and rustic, we were led upstairs to the rooms. The landing was littered with children's clothes although it appeared at first to be clean it was very dated and the property is in need of more than just a coat...

Interesting local historic building, lots of space for car parking, friendly owners, cosy atmosphere, child friendly could do with high chairs though, all home cooked food which is very tasty! I even asked could I take a desert home and they said yes which I was very pleased with, reasonably priced!

What a lovely place to stay. Friendly comfortable room and marvellous breakfast. Very reasonably priced we would recommend this in a second. Bar meals are great. As well as the real fire. All positives about this gem in Billinge. Liking forward to our next stay

Called in for lunch whilst walking in the area. The lunch menu was good pub grub & very good value for money. The food was very well presented, the home made chips particularly good. The landlord & landlady were very friendly & couldn't do enough to make our visit enjoyable. The beer was excellent. We will definately be returning to...
