Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Perfect place for relaxation!! The hosts are so welcoming and nothing is too much when you message them. Such a tranquil place. The bed was so comfy and all that we needed was provided. My son and my friends children enjoyed exploring the field and being care free. We were fascinated by the red kites flying above and the rabbits in the field.

We stayed here as a large family group based on the location, facilities and cost, on each of all these items White Mark hits the target! The price is approximately half the cost of any other glamping site within 50 miles so take a view on expectations, we can only vouch for our experience as being a great environment to relax, unwind and enjoy being at one with nature under the canvas, No complaints from all 15 of us.. everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed the site and all the area has to offer. Excellent value.

Stayed in the glamping Bell tents based on reviews. Do not be fooled! When we checked it, the bell tents were dirty. It was obvious it had not been cleaned since the previous guests. We had to call Mark (business owner) to clean. He came after 2 hrs despite being on site, he didn't care. Did a terrible job of cleaning. Replaced used sheets with sheets that had blood strains. There was shards of broken glass in the tent, but mark didn't care. I'm quite sure the wood fire stove is unsafe to use as it was falling apart. There was hair everywhere. When we complained, he said the cleaner let him down. We were certain he was lying as we spoke the his mother, the site owner whilst doing the washing up. She did Mark does all the cleaning and he is the cleaner. Very disappointed, I would never never stay again!

Stayed here with friends in August 2023 and had 2 of the glamping tents. The tents are lovely, comfortable beds and have the relevant amenities. The area was very quiet with the only noises being those of the local wildlife! The tens are accompanied by seating and a fire pit at the front, making the evenings even more enjoyable.

Dog friendly. Stayed with my wife and son for a weekend away. Lovely place with all that we needed. The tent was spacious with a comfy large double bed. I forgot to mention my 3 year old was staying with us but when we arrived that was no problem at all. Martin and Steph greeted us with a warm welcome and as soon as they saw we needed another bed, Martin sorted a camp bed out straight away. First time camping with kids so was a bit weary about it, but the site was perfect for a getaway. Lovely local pub with amazing pizza and local beers 10 minute walk away made it an even easier experience. Thank you.😊

A beautiful campsite set in the Oxfordshire countryside not far from the M40. The site is well maintained and hasall the facilities that are required for a stay. There were local pubs easily walkable from the site, however one kitchen doesn't open on a Tuesday! Had a relaxing night sat beside the fire pit in the darkness of the site, without any noise. Pure bliss and totally relaxing. The tents are well maintained and have all you need. There are wood burners if its cold, but these were not needed. Would I stay again? Most definitely, thank you Martin and Stephanie for a wonderful nights stay.

Shower/toilet block poor. Dirty, stained bedding, flat pillows, damp smell, mouldy and saggy mattress (double), broken glass pieces on floor! Rusty stove/blocked chimney, no carbon monoxide detector.

Me, my partner and his 4yr old daughter have never done glamping and we are so glad we booked Whitemark Glamping for our first experience. We were greeted by Martin, Steph and there two beautiful little girls with the warmest welcome as soon as we arrived. The location is perfect so quiet, the stars at night are amazing when your sat by the campfire it’s pure bliss. I recommend the local pub 10min walk for pizza, really trendy and cute pub. Couldn’t recommended enough… book now quick it’s worth it! Check out 4 in a bed as they are featured on there.

We came to White Mark Glamping for a long weekend; after staying in other 'Glamping' campsites around the UK, we were so excited to stay here. I really hate leaving negative reviews however on this occasion I feel to improve your service this is necessary. The tent we stayed in was The Orion, which cost Friday till Monday £330. Opening the tent, yes, it looked okay; it had a bed and two camp beds for the kids, one was high, and one was low. To be honest, there's no care given; the beds were nothing exciting, and why could we not have two beds the same as it caused murder with the kids who were on the floor while who was up high. The holes in the tent were shocking; the tents needed a good wash down, and all in all, it just felt dirty. We actually left a day early because I could not cope with staying another night. I have camped since I was born, and I know a lot about camping; I get the no electricity thing, but even the lamp that was on offer had no batteries or the back battery. I honestly think the tents need to be thrown away and bought again and maybe look after them. We were one of the lucky ones as we had two OK chairs at the front of the tent and next door had two broken chairs. I'm not sure at what point before people are due to arrive when its cleaned You look at the cheap furniture and think maybe nobody will notice the fact you can't sit on these chairs as they are broken. I honestly would have my money back as I really did not enjoy my stay and felt it would have been cheaper to buy my own tent. We had insects all over the bed, and the tent and the carpet were riddled. The cobwebs made it feel like it was Halloween, and no, if I had my own tent, it would not be in that state. It was because it had holes that had been patched, which we then needed to buy tape ourselves as it was pouring down and rain came in. My advice, look around for other places, we've been to some amazing ones. These need to be seriously taken down and replaced. Sorry, I do think one upon a time these may have been nice but not anymore.

Hi Michelle. First of all, we always stipulate to all of our guests to let us know if there is anything we can help with. We were extremely helpful in finding a balloon decorator for you prior to your stay. We go above and beyond for our guests which we pride ourselves on. However we cannot if the communication is not there. So, just to answer a few of your extremely negative points. The cost was a reasonable rate for a bank Holiday weekend. You chose a standard tent which typically sleeps 2 however as you didn't book a family tent you therefor needed 2 additional campbeds for your children. It is out of our control on how your children chose to react to the camp beds. If you had of made us aware we could have swapped one of the campbeds, but again you did not let us know and only now draw attention to this in a negative impacting manner. There are 2 small holes which we will happily post a photo of as your use of word exaggeration is very unfair. One being the size of a pound coin and the other slightly larger. We have repair patches on route however you did not make us aware the temporary patches had become unstuck during your stay. As mentioned before, this would have been fixed immediately if you had of informed us. The tents are under trees that leave natural stains on which get treated every so often but it certainly is not dirt. However any traces of mud a a little tricky to avoid when in the great outdoors and for an experienced camper yourself you should know this. Regarding the bugs Michelle, we know from experience that your tent certainly wasn't 'riddled'. But if you wish to leave your fly net open the bugs are most likely to creep in. I'm not too sure what you mean about the battery comments. The lamp is solar powered so it doesn't actually have batteries... Your comments have been very disheartening to read as your stay would have been a different experience had you of reached out to us. We wish you well in your glamping adventures.

White Mark Glamping far exceeded our expectations. We where greeted by a lovely lady who pointed us in the the right direction on arrival. We traveled with two kids 5 + 9 who couldn’t believe the size of the tent ? The shower block was spotless along with the little on site fridge. The views along with the sunsets were lovely! We met Martin and he couldn’t of been more helpful, over all we had a very nice time . Great job white Mark Glamping
