We booked 3 rooms. 1 room - toilet bowl was dirty at checked in and really noisy when flushing. The 2nd room shower pipe broke and there was no replacement. Our friends showered in our room that night. Appreciate that its an old building but...More
Expensive, with lack of hot water when required. Clean but uncomfortable beds, some road noise. Toilet cistern fill was noisy reported it but told it had been looked at 3 times previously. Staff seemed young and not that helpful.
This inn is conveniently close to the Thames Path, we spent one night here after a five-day hike.
On the positive side, the staff are pleasant and helpful. We had a nice meal, my husband especially enjoyed the whitebait starter.

Staff is friendly but rooms are terrible. Couldn’t sleep until 3am due to noisy building and extremely uncomfortable mattress. Bathroom was shared with mold on the floor and missing or loose tiles everywhere. Never had such a bad night’s sleep for £61!!
