Wonderful resort. Great corals and amazing for people who love to dive or snorkel. Stayed at the water villa for the first 2 nights and at the beach villa for the next 2, and we had opted for the all inclusive Serenity plan. The staff is simply great. A special shoutout to Mr. Safwan who went the extra mile to take extra special care of us at all the restaurants. A smiling face always and so accommodating. And to Ms Kelly, from the Kids Club, who took care of our daughter throughout the stay and ensured the little one had so much fun !! The food at the 2 speciality restaurants was yumm!! A 5/5 for Oblu Select Sangeli. Would definitely recommend this place.

WOW!! This hotel was just amazing. My husband and I have been to the Maldives before and stayed at a different island, so we had high expectations. Sangeli didn’t just meet those expectations, they massively surpassed them. From the moment we arrived at the airport we were greeted with a warm welcome and taken over by boat where again we received a fabulous arrival. The staff at Sangeli are truly exceptional. Every single member of their staff are friendly, polite and will go above and beyond to make your holiday special. There a few special thank yous we would love to give: Sofi the F&B Manager, he was so welcoming, always making sure we were being looked after and constantly ensuring we were having a great time. He looks after and manages his team so well! All the bar staff at the Sangs pool bar were incredible but a huge thank you to Meisi, Eunice, Jace and Michal who constantly looked after us, always went above and beyond, danced with us and hugely contributed to making our holiday special. The entertainment at Sangeli was brilliant. Amaan who manages this is a wonderful person and very talented musician and dancer! The thought, the detail and effort that goes into it all is excellent. We had such a great time with everything that was put on. Surf on the Turf and the DJ pool parties were definitely our favourites. These were so much fun and got so many people up and dancing having a great time. (The music / DJ is only for 1 to 2 hours and only on certain occasions- If you don’t want the music, there is always the adults only island beach which is lovely and quiet, plus the rest of the beach around the island (so everyone has options). I want to also add this hotels all inclusive package really is all inclusive. A number of islands do not offer the variety and options of drinks that Sangeli do: the range of champagne and sparkling, the sprits, cocktails, wines and everything else! You also get a number of dining options at Just Wok and Just Grill which was amazing and spa treatments too! The Spa staff are fantastic and give such high quality treatments. The Gym is great too, certainly to burn off all the extra calories from the amazing food and alcohol being consumed! Santosh is the personal trainer there and he is fantastic. He is so friendly and welcoming and always on hand to help. I even did several PT sessions with him, and he taught me some great things that I will definitely be continuing back in the UK. The Chefs…. Incredible, all the food was divine, couldn’t fault a single thing. So many options and something for everyone, even the fussiest of eaters. If you need / want anything that you can’t see you can just ask and they will get it for you. The desserts were incredible, we couldn’t help but have a selection at lunch and dinner!! If you see the Chocolate moose it will be the best you have ever tasted!! We also did the private dining on the beach, this was magical. Again the detail on the set up was perfect, the service again incredible, and the food!!! You get 4 courses (if there is something you don’t like on the set menu they will change it for you no problem). The quality and taste of this food was so good, so much so half way through our courses I had to change my dress to something with some stretch so I could finish! I was so full but it tasted so good I didn’t want to leave anything!! Highly recommend the turtle bay excursion - we got to see them and they are just mesmerising animals. It’s $90 per person and completely worth it. The room cleaning, turn down service, mini bar and snack replenishment, was excellent. Sangeli has a great house Reef which has loads to see and we even got to see a few sharks and a turtle too! Lisa the General Manager was really lovely, again making sure all the guests were happy and had everything they needed. Everything is run so well at Sangeli, we honestly couldn’t have wished for a better holiday. If you have booked Sangeli for your holiday it definitely will not disappoint… and if you’re still trying to choose which island to book… stop searching and book here, you will have the most magical time! We stayed in honeymoon villas and were served by Niheart. We had a spectacular trip. Rooms were impeccably clean, with breathtaking views and all the comfort possible. The hospitality of staff was great from warm greetings to ensuring we had a memorable stay. Our butler Niheart adapted the schedule as per our liking and ensured we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to ensure our trip was memorable. I highly recommend him.

Truly an incredible experience. One of the best parts has been lahiru and his team at the Sangs bar. They went above and beyond to create a magical champagne experience on the beach, and we’ll never forget it. Just ask for lahiru and he’ll do the rest. Thank you lahiru!!!

We had the best time in Oblu select, the hotel is absolutely stunning, the restaurants are incredible, as we had the honeymoon suite we got to eat here multiple times and the food was always amazing from lunch to dinner. The service was out of this world, a special thanks to Amman at just grill who always new our order of drinks and was so friendly and also Dhiksha at just wok was was incredibly sweet and friendly everytime we had dinner. The buffet is also amazing, so many options and all so tasty, thank you to Michal who made us laugh so much during dinner and the rest of the team who were always so happy and friendly. We did 4 excursions and all were so well organised, I was nervous in the sea and the guides always made me feel completely safe when out snorkelling. We also did the dolphin cruise, we didn’t manage to see any but the team tried so hard and kept us laughing the whole time. A huge thank you to Niheart who absolutely made our stay, nothing was too much trouble for him, he even brought us a plate of rice when we dropped one of our phones in the pool to dry it out. He organised us a fantastic routine and was always on hand whenever we needed him. Also thank you to Shaikath was was always around at the end of the night to take us back to our villa, a really lovely person. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful I have already booked to go back to the honeymoon suite at the end of January to bring my husband and I can’t wait …

Actually, we were here in November 2022, but that year our review wasn’t downloaded. This year we are in another hotel, cause we missed our room here, unfortunately. Excellent destination for a romantic getaway! We got the all inclusive serenity plan which was totally worth it. Ease of arrival with speed boat transfers, excellent food and hospitality, a relaxing 45mins massage and delightful fine dine dinners. The courtyard has multiple food options even for vegetarians. Personally interacted a lot with Sahiba and Rita who were great! Bappi did a great room decor to welcome us. Bonus points for snorkeling lesson at a reasonable cost and free equipment to explore daily. The reef around the island is stunning! I highly recommend Oblu Select Sangeli!!

신혼여행으로 다녀왔어요!ㅎㅎㅎ 옆 칸이 공사 중이라 조금 시끄러웠지만 우리가 없을 때 위주로 작업해서 괜찮았어요! 특히 패키지에 포함되었던 honeymoon dinner에서 담당자 Michael이 너무 잘 해줘서 기억에 많이 남아요! We were on our Honeymoon! One of the most memorable thing was the honey moon diner that was included in the package. The food was definetely great Michael recommended lot of good cocktails and we certainly loved it! We are sure to revisit this place one day and hope to see Michael again here:)
