We found this Auberge after a long days travel. The accommodation was superb - spacious with a comfortable bed and scrupulously clean. The view over the vineyard added to the calm of the room. The receptionist was proud to show us the room. The service was discreet and efficient. Breakfast was superb - and they didn't mind that we were... More

My wife and I from Ireland spent 14 nights in this hotel. It was a wonderful experience. The service was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, even to the extent of mechanical assistance with a bicycle and facilitating a visit to a vineyard. The room was very comfortable, very clean, bright and quiet. The food was of a... More

Stayed 2 nights here and a little disappointed - it looked better on the website. It's primary function is as a 'destination' resturant and the rooms are almost an afterthought. As other reviewers have said it was comfortable (bed was excellent) but room very small. Also the location , next to a busy road and railway meant the window had... More

I'm pleased to say this hotel was chosen by my wife after consulting The Michelin Guide. The welcome was friendly, the room was spacious and clean. We had a private terrace that was untidy and the terrace furniture had soiled seat covers. The pool was very small but welcome after along drive. It became less attractive when young families arrived and it turned into... Very small room. Good view, but such a small window, only one of us could look out at a time. Bed comfortable but sideways action needed to pass each other in the room. The receptionist was cheerful, willing and very helpful. Other staff were cheerful, but inexperienced working to the alleged standard of this hotel and totally unsupervised by management... More

Stayed for just one night, shown to room in the new bedroom block by a receptionist very business like but not overtly friendly. Room booked superior room, well equipped and comfortable bed, good bathroom with excellent shower and also air conditioning. Not very large so glad only staying for one night. The room was quite away from the main road.... More

We ate here for Valentines Day and the menu was lovely, It is a little bit more expensive than others on street. I do have it on good authirity that they sit all the brits together (I hope this is not true) and certainly wasn't the case for us.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in a standard room. This was adequate for our short stay but would recommend a larger room if you want to stay longer. The air con was the quietest I have experienced in a long time and so we were able to shut out the road and train noise.... More

The hotel is very stylish. The standard rooms are small but perfectly appointed. However, the hotel is on a busy road with lorries thundering by. If you have a room at the back, this isn't a problem though. The restaurant and food are lovely and the staff very friendly. The disappointment was that we were charged 34 euros for a... More
