Located in the heart of a French medieval village, 5 minutes drive from the Pont du Gard, the recently restored traditional 18th century provencal “mas” offers 8 double rooms, large suites or duplex (35- 40 m2), each with it’s own private bathroom. Each suite has a special charm and includes a double bed (160 and 180) and a sitting area with sofa bed for 2 children. The double rooms and the duplex have tehir own terrace. The south facing pool is surrounded by large terraces and olive trees, begging you to sunbath. Breakfast is normally served on the terrace, weather permitting. The restaurant proposes a fine gourmet cuisine.

We chose this as an overnighter based on reading rave tripadvisor reviews. I’d like to give it more than 4 but in fairness I cannot. Yes, it is in a lovely location close to the motorway and Pont du Gard and is really more suitable for a longer stay than overnight. We arrived

After just staying in the le Vieux Castillon at a very similar price point (albeit more expensive) - la Belle vie was a huge disappointment. We were early for checkin so had lunch and were served by a really friendly man who spoke great English. Lunch was nice but overpriced -

We have just finished a wonderfully relaxing 5 night stay in La Belle Vie. Our room (L'Ecurie) was huge, spotlessley clean, and impeccably designed. The super king bed was extremely comfortable, with our own small terrace and garden at the front which made the hotel room feel

La Belle Vie is a delight - we stayed for 2 nights, eating in on both evenings and every aspect of the hotel had been carefully thought through to provide an excellent experience. Our room, Grenier, was in the roof of the main building and was really a bedroom and sitting room

"Le Grenier has a great view of the Pont de Garde, and has a lovely seating area and balcony, but isn't suitable for tall guests as it has low ceilings. We loved it !"
"Some rooms are separate to the main building and are centred in the garden. Great ambience"
"Rooms on the second floor have a nice view and lots of privacy but there is no elevator while lots of stairs. Our room on the first floor "La Piscine" was perfect for easy access and heavy luggage."
"We stayed in Le Clocher which is wonderfully spacious and very good for a family of four."
