It was a privilege to stay at Larry & Linda's wonderful bed & breakfast in January this year while visiting Wilsons Promontory. Its located on the rolling hills of Foster, the surroundings and environment here are stunning. We were very warmly welcomed by the hosts and treated with a wonderful panoramic view on their terrace with white parrots flying around - we felt home away from home. The breakfast was delicious with their home made, organic porridge, granola and jams/marmalades.... but nothing beats the orange/almond cake waiting for us, after a long day of hiking. Larry and Linda are incredibly knowledgeable about the surroundings and really pointed us to gems in the surroundings. The guest rooms were comfortable and included all kinds of comforts (i.e. sustainable bath amenities) with a small kitchenette, a fridge but also little sweets and chocolates. Our experience was incredible, all thanks to Larry & Linda - thanks so much for staying at your little paradise!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for such a lovely review of your stay with us in January. We were so happy to welcome you and couldn't be happier to know that you enjoyed your time with us. We do feel privileged to live within such a beautiful natural environment and now that the world has completely shut down we are doubly privileged to be able to explore it more, in total isolation! Having lived in cities all of our lives, we are thrilled to now be able to grow our own produce and offer real food to our guests. The orange almond cake is made from oranges from our own trees, but I can see that we will need to grow some almond trees one day soon. Larry and I send you both our very best wishes and the hope that you stay safe in these difficult times. Linda

We normally book our accommodation weeks or months in advance, but for this 3 week road trip we decided book the night before arriving at a new destination. Three prior bookings were cancelled allowing us to spend 3 nights at Llarrinda, talk about luck. I hope the people that cancelled get the opportunity to enjoy all that is good about travelling that can be found here. The 121/121 five star reviews are well deserved, others have written about the comfortable accommodation, the views, the wildlife, the breakfast, the travel and dining advice and we can vouch for the quality of all of the above. I don't think that Larry and Linda have spent a lifetime in hospitality but I'm glad they have decided to share their home/slice of paradise with us. Lucky us.

Thank you so much Peter for your very kind words. While we were sorry to see our other guests have to cancel their stay with us, we are so happy that you had the opportunity to discover a little of what this corner of Victoria has to offer, and hope that one day you might come back. Larry and I thoroughly enjoyed welcoming you both and hope that you've had a wonderful time exploring the Great Ocean Road and Grampians. We send our very best wishes to you both.

This is an exceptional bed and breakfast. Larry and Linda are gracious, knowledgeable hosts who work hard to ensure that their guest have a high quality experience. We felt like we were staying with friends. Their home is beautifully decorated with outstanding views and opportunities to observe wildlife. The guest quarters are spacious, extremely comfortable and immaculate. All efforts have been made to ensure the property is self-sustaining and eco-friendly. The breakfast is excellent with homemade breads, jams and granola. If we were to visit this part of Australia again, we would make it a priority to stay at Llarrinda.

...could sum it all up, nothing to add in theory. we stayed with linda and larry for 5 nights and our terrific experience started with a phone call in the morning, when we requested another 2 nights on the 3 booked ones, as that accomodation was just awful. linda agreed, even though they had other plans. the stay with linda and larry was better than with family, great view from the panorama room, everything squeaky clean , great breakfasts and and and..... they gave us very good advice of where to eat and what to do. i could keep going on praising them. for us it was THE BEST in our extensive travels. thanks a lot, we appreciate all you did to make us feel welcome at your lovely home. jutta and klaus

Dear Jutta and Klaus, Sometimes guests are so easy to be with that they feel like family, and you definitely are in that category. We were so happy that we were able to welcome you two days early and enjoy your warm and easy-going company for longer. Thank you so much for your generous review - we really do appreciate it and are so happy to know that you enjoyed your time here, despite the unhelpful weather. We wish you a safe and memorable ongoing journey and send our very best wishes to you both, Linda and Larry
