My "hiking mate" and I stayed here for a couple of nights to go walking in one of our favourite parts of the word (despite the weather on Saturday). The bedroom, showers, toilets and indeed the whole hostel is spotlessly clean and tidy. The welcome...More

Really great hostel. My first time in a youth hostel and was dreading it, but I was completely wrong in my expectations. The welcome was warm, facilities great, room clean and tidy, breakfast was great. On top of that a beautiful location.More

About
Description
Really, really great hostel for Yorkshire Dales activity breaks, serving the very best homemade food using locally sourced ingredients. There is a well looked after Secondhand bookshop and postoffice in the More hostel making it a really special place to visit. There is a brilliant village shop and three pubs in the village making it a really easy place to spend time away from home. There are a great range of walks straight from the front door and some truly inspiring bike rides! Less
