Loved my stay at the inn. Staff were wonderful, cheery and very helpful. Room was clean, warm, and a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. Food was comforting in the cold weather. Looking forward to visiting again one day.

Arrived to find our rooms were wrong - were put on hold for the longest 20 mins (more like an hour) while they moved someone out! I would have rather them cancel and we could have moved on elsewhere or slept in the car... Granted they gave us a drink on the house but small recompense - I think I...

Lost in northern Wales trying to find an inn. Glan Yr Afon we're glad to have us at a reasonable price for a twin room. Great pub with a lot of people going in different directions, full English breakfast and cereal for when we got up. Came with a great en suite aswell

Stayed 3 nights very quaint and quiet, room was fine fully serviced with tea, coffee and biscuits, plenty shampoo etc., in the en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and the meals on an evening were worth the money. Staff were excellent, disabled access is possible but I would check first as to what degree because the actual pub area is typically...

The room was nice but the bathroom was a bit cramped. Also the fire exit light was bright lit up green and kept the room light all night and so it was nearly impossible to get barely a wink of sleep. Then again, it's always good to know where to go in a fire. Breakfast was yummy but the order...

Very quaint olde world pub. Comfortable room with FULL body shower (nice touch). Great evening food and Kerry does the best boiled eggs in Flintshire!! Excellent rural location which is great for walkers. Also handy for Chester and North Wales coast.

Very quaint old Welsh inn complete with underground caves! Staff very friendly and welcoming - as were the locals. The dog was made welcome and even had a sausage for breakfast. The room was adequate for what we needed but not luxurious. Comfortable bed and largish en suite. Nicely cooked breakfast, plenty of toast and cereals also. Main meals in...

I stayed here with two friends while shopping at Abakhan for the weekend and although the outside doesn't look great, the pub is cosy and the food was good. Between the three of us, it worked out at £30 each which included breakfast. Make sure you ring and ask to include breakfast otherwise you will need to pay on top....

Stayed here bank holiday weekend. We had a great room and the food and drink were all excellent and a great price. As it got a little later though, 6 onwards, some of the regulars did seem to be getting a bit boisterous and made me feel a little uncomfortable but I would definitely return.

Thank NicholaDixon
