We spent two nights here and thoroughly switched off and relaxed. The house is stunning with an eclectic mix of furnishing which works so well. Upon arrival we were greeted by Jennie, the owner, and shown to our room. Absolutely spotless with everything you could wish for. Sumptuous bedding, lovely toiletries in the bathroom, a coffee machine and fresh milk. Breakfast consisted of cereals, home made granola, freshly baked bread and pastries, a huge selection of fresh fruit, yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice - all of this was before the full English breakfast and other options! There was only one other couple staying and so we could park on the front of the property although the free parking at the Village Hall really wasn't far at all. Overall there really wasn't anything I could change and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I don't usually return to places, preferring to try new places each time, but I think we would definitely return to Old Town Hall House. Thank you x…
We arrived at the B and B after a long drive and was met by our host Jenny. The best way to describe the Old Town Hall House is refined and luxurious. The room was very neat and tidy and the bed was lovely and comfy. Breakfast, full English and Eggs Benedict were delicious. We saw the new year in at the local pub, the Three Swallows and had a great time. Definitely will visit and stay again and will remember to bring a better torch with us. A great place for a secluded 'get away'
My wife found this place and thought it looked great - and it did not disappoint Very pleasant welcome from the Jenni the charming owner. Very stylish decor throughout - a tasteful mix of traditional and mid-century furniture. Outstanding attention to detail with top quality products and nice thoughtful touches everywhere.Spotlessly clean. Chef co owner James runs a residents' communal table supper club twice a week, and we dined in house on superbly cooked roast monkfish, with an excellent chocolate fondant to follow. short wine list but outstanding value Saturday's breakfast may well be the best Full English I've eaten at any hotel - top quality ingredients freshly cooked. Sunday's was eggs benedict again first class Great base for exploring North Norfolk, and great walks on the marshes and beach literally on the doorstep Excellent value…
Nothing was too much trouble and the owners attend to every detail to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast is outstanding . The hotel is well positioned for coastal walks and birdwatching at Cley marshes, a national treasure.
Wonderful place! Nice, clean, historic bed & breakfast. Breakfasts are very good, which are prepared fresh daily and made in house. The couple who own the b & b are very courteous, friendly, and professional. Nice view of the village and surrounding marshes as well. The other guests we dined with were very nice as well. We really loved staying here and will again! As far as parking your car goes, you can access more parking at the free village car park, which is a short walk away.
