Stayed here two years ago and the motel has still held onto all its charm. The room had everything you could wish for and was very cozy. We were welcomed by the friendly owner who was charming and very helpful. If in New Zealand again we will return.

Loved our night here in this comfortable, clean, affordable and well run motel. The 50/60s style was really charming in room 4. Others rooms are more modern but I enjoyed ours. Walk around the corner to Main Street. Don't miss a yarn with the Bearded Miners and visit the museum - both terrific. Highly recommend

When the weather bomb prevented us driving through to Greymouth due to road blocks we were forced to turn back and stay at Reefton. Our host at Lantern Court Motel welcomed us with open arms, provided awesome accomodation, recommended a great hike, swing bridge and cave exporing and then gave us the best advice for dinner. A highlight of our...

This is a lovely, basic, friendly down to earth motel in the centre of town. Reefton is a delightful town to visit and this is great place to stay. To complete the picture try Wilsons hotel for dinner. Unassuming and a typical country pub where Stefan, the chef, puts out excellent pub food. Wine by the glass from New Zealand...

We stayed 4 nights at the Lantern Court Motel. We booked a small studio unit which had a kitchen and everything we required for ourselves and our little girl. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we felt the place really had a personal touch, that the staff really cared. We would highly recommend the Lantern Court Motel for...

The Lantern Court Motel is delightfully homey, comfy and full of warm hospitality. The accommodation is older, but it's charm shines through the rooms beautifully presented, clean and warm and well appointed. The hospitality and warmth from our host Kerry was second to none! And given we were 'displaced' due to the Transalpine Train cancellation - to arrive to this...

We stayed overnight, twice. It was a very handy location for our travel, a half way point. We opted for the budget 2 star rooms and they were great. Clean & tidy. All the supplies you need for an overnight stay. Kitchen & Bathrooms are older style. Reminded me of a holiday bach from times gone by.

We booked the three bedroom apartment here and it was fantastic. If you're looking for super modern then maybe this isn't for you but if you're up for blending into the feel of the town then you'll love this place. Beds are comfy! Lantern Court is central in Reefton but only minutes walk from the gorgeous Inangahua River. It's next...

Hi Hospo_Lyf, Thank you so much for taking the time to post such a lovely review. Really pleased that we met your expectations. Some of our units are of the older style which blend in with the historic town. We do try to keep them to a good standard and have a lovely group of local ladies on our house...
