there is no kitchen, the so called utensils which were available were definitely not usable.. someone prepared some soup or curry (presumably) in a saucer during the second world war and kindly left some for us to gorge on. the rooms were neat though, the bathrooms were spacious. the main city is just a 15 mins bus ride away, very...

This is listed as an entire home/apartment on airbnb, and the pictures show a bathroom, supposedly private. We were under the impression that we were going to have an apartment with a private bathroom and two bedrooms, as indicated in the listing. Thank goodness this information was 100% misleading. God forbid we would have obtained what we thought we were...

Very basic but clean hotel 5 minutes from Mestre station so 15 minutes from Venice. The matresses were a bit soft but the bathroom we shared was clean. Very warm welcome from both landladies who speak very good French. Nothing luxurious but cheap accomodation for Venice. Nice restaurant : "la dolce vita" nearby.

Stayed here in August 2013; there's some pro's and some con's, but overall I definitely cannot recommend staying here. Pro: - close to the railway station in Mestre - about 10 min away from a supermarket Cons: - This place is very run-down. There is no other way of saying it. - Shower was VERY dirty and mold covered. Absolutely...

I was in this pensione last time i was in venice. It is well connected. The train station Mestre is in front. Central island of Venice is just to one stop. In this Mestre neighbourhood there are supermarkets and internet coffe shop open till evening. It is a quiet place. Not a noisy place. The pensione is basic. I got...

It was the cheapest accommodation that we manage to get compared to Milan, Rome and Florence however its horrible. The toilet was totally yuckky ( wet, smelly, very uncomfortable) and room was abit old and creepy. They provide free wi-fi and towel. The location i can rate higher as it is very close to train station, Mestre ( one stop...

We booked at this Pensione after not finding anything even remotely worthwhile in Venice - we were booking quite late and everything else under 100 Euros a night was booked. We paid 55 a night at this Pensione in Mestre for a double room with attached bathroom (doubles with shared facilities are 40). The location is convenient - less than...
