Arriving at sunset after a busy day at this beautiful, remote and unique boutique hotel was amazing! Rooms are very nice, boutique style but all new and in perfect shape, beds okay, privacy is given. The building in itself is an old horse station directly on a small channel. The surroundings are very quiet & natural (100% countryside). The breakfast...

I saw a picture of this place and without knowing where it was booked for a week as it looked so amazing. We were not disapointed it was a special place with a special owner. Peaceful, fantastic comfortable beds and very restful. Fresh baked bread and homemade conserve for breakfast every day with fresh laid eggs from the chickens in...

The room was lovely and the owner was incredibly helpful and friendly. We stayed 2 nights. Breakfasts were simple but delicious, with home made yogourt and preserves, artisan breads and fresh juices. Recommendations for dinner were perfect. She literally saved the day for us by warning us against thr area we were planning to visit due to holiday traffic congestion...

We stayed one night with three friends at Domaine des Pres de Joussac. The place is in a beautiful setting - close to a small canal leading to the Phare Richard, in a farm-like building. We had a spacious room (hosted easily us three adults), bathroom and a large living-eating-kitchen-room. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Also the breakfast was...

Located in the middle of the Médoc wine region, this is one of the nicest places I've stayed. The peace and quiet alongside an inlet from the Gironde river is absolute serenity. The host, Sophie and her lovely family, is most welcoming and has a gem of a location. The rooms are very tastefully decorated with reclining beds and very...

An exceptionally pretty place in a picturesque location, Domaine des pres de Joussac just oozes calm and a sense of well being. Although a little small and dark our room was comfortable, clean, and being part of a beautiful old barn, full of character. A sitting dining room with a well equipped kitchen area is provided for the shared use...

Our party of two couples stayed here in April, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. The weather had turned hot (30 degrees) and humid, but the old stone building in which our two beautifully furnished and spacious rooms were located was cool and comfortable, with the added surpise bonus of a self-contained living, dining and kitchen...

My wife and I stayed here on October 12, 2012. We've travelled a lot in France and pay a lot of attention to finding places that are full of character and provide wonderful experiences. Our general goal is to average about 100-125 euro per night when we travel outside Paris. The short story: Highly recommended! A warm and charming "domaine"...

“Despite the roadside location, there is no noise at all in the rooms we stayed in - it's a very quiet road.”
