Just stayed here as we were at a party in the village, so it was very convenient. The staff were all good, and the room was very clean. It's certainly looking pretty tired, but since we weren't spending much time there, it was fine, and had everything we needed. £60 for the room and breakfast for two isn't super cheap,...

Having been recommended to try the Manor we went a long midweek. We booked in advance and although it was a quieter night in the restaurant the bar area was still busy. It was easy enough to find and there's a car park to the rear and parking opposite along the street. The staff are very friendly and we were...

We stayed with family for a christening and spent one night here. Our room was huge and the bed was really comfortable. My husband never sleeps well in hotels but said he had a brilliant nights sleep. In the garden there is a beautiful carved tree which is definitely worth seeing.

I must start by saying the food is amazing. The service, beer and prices all excellent. Sadly that's where it ends, the room I was in was beyond tired with two single beds of which one had torn valance and the other unironed and creased. The lino was lifting with bare plaster round the light fitting and smell musky. If...

Let us start with the good. The location I will say is very good, but to be fair if you have booked this hotel then you will be booking it with an agenda in mind and as such it is the best in the area. I love the look of this, from the moment I pulled up in the car...

Lord have mercy. I have not eaten this much in years. The food was soo good that I could not stop eating. I ordered the fillet steak with veggies and seasoned potato wedges. They bring out a rock on a plate. The rock is heated up to about 800 degrees Fahrenheit. You then cook the meat on the hot rock...

We stayed 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) as we were visiting the local area. As previously mentioned this is an old building, so expect creaky and uneven floors etc. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious, with an on suite bathroom. Our room was over the kitchens, and there was a constant hum from the air conditioners until later in...

Great REAL village pub with good food and a limited number of rooms available. Old hunting lodge/farmhouse/home turned pub. Quaint rooms, well furnished, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely village with interesting church and friendly residents. The original building is circa 16th century so the floors are a bit uneven and creaky in places, but that only adds to the atmosphere....
