Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

By far the worst place I have stayed in Thailand could be very nice however the people that run resort don't like foreigners and make no effort to be friendly. Breakfast was included however if u call toast breakfast dont bother paying more for it!! Unless they have a group come in then you may get some fruit. They Dont clean rooms or give you fresh towels or sheets unless you go ask....felt very unwelcome at MP resort which is a real shame if you had good people running it would be great. 😔😔

If peace and solitude are your thing, then this ain’t the place; however, if you want drunken Thai karaoke all hours of the day, night, and early morning, then definitely book M.P. Resort. The bungalows are OK, but right next to the karaoke stage where drunken Thai tourists try to out drink each other and them scream into a microphone all night thinking they are the next great undiscovered Thai Idol contestant. People in the neighboring resorts were complaining to M.P management, but they didn’t seem to care as long as the bar was making money and had no consideration for those of us with small children or who wanted to go to sleep before dawn. STAY AWAY FROM M.P. RESORT , BOOK SOMEPLACE FAR AWAY WHERE YOU DON’T HAVE TO SUFFER FOR THREE NIGHTS LIKE WE DID. MISERABLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!

... the staff and service at this is place is the worst I have experienced so far on our 3 month tour. And that is a shame, since the bungalows are nice and big for a family, and the beach is very child friendly. We spent 6 days here, and after 1 day we realized that we wanted to go to the adjacent resorts of Buffalo Bay Vacation Club and Vijit to relax and eat lunch and dinner. It was obvious that all the other guests did the same. Their restaurant was empty at all times besides breakfast. Which by the way wasn’t very good either. You would always find some staff in the restaurant looking not busy. Even lying on the furniture looking TV or smartphones with the volume up. So: I can highly recommend Koh Phayam and staying at this beach. From here you have a short motorbike ride to the town or the other nice beaches of Koh Phayam. And the bungalows are new, nice and big. But if there is rooms available at other resorts on this beach, I would take them.

The bungalows look quite new. They are clean and have a ac witch is really quiet. The breakfast is not more than average. The service is ok but not special. I would stay there again. But there is a lot stuff to improve this place.

The manager of this place really puts a lot of effort for everyone to be happy. The atmosphere is great and the little bar with music adds a great flavor to this beautiful beach. Food is amazing -you keep ordering more and more - especially chicken with cashew nuts! Highly recommended. the room was very comfortable and clean. Our family (2 small kids, 2 and 4.5) had a great time - very friendly staff and great coconuts in the little booth bar! the beach is so beautiful with some other restaurants and bars nearby. MP Resort has kayaks for its guests and you can go to a mangrove forest within 10 minutes of kayaking. you can comfortably go to any place on the island with motor taxis (cheap), which we have used a lot. My favourite place on Koh Phayam - very big part due to the managers attitude, which is yes! and yes:)
