We booked this property with the idea in case of extending. In itself it would not be bad to say "Thai style" on the beach but unfortunately it is not actually open. The restaurant and all the services were closed, once we handed over the key to the bungalow we were left to ourselves, luckily we found a high accommodation.

We stayed for 10 days on Koh Phayam at Sabai Sabai and we were sad to leave! Such a relaxed (sabai) atmosphere. Its situated close to the town and the pier. And close to all other beaches as Koh Phayam is a very smal island. We rented motorbikes and discovered the whole island and all beaches. We found a lot of nice places to eat and chill but no place like Sabai. Its quiet, very green, decorated with al colored lights. With a very cosy restaurant and a lot of nice places to chill. There is a bit more wind on this part of the island making it a lot more comfortable and less hot than other beaches. Also the sea is very close and most important of all, no sandflies!! And no picking plankton in the water. We loved this place. And not only the place but also the kind and loving staff!! Thank you James and Sarah with their adorable new born, who build such a warm and cosy place. Thank you linda, emma and Joseph for taking such good care of us. Sabrina for the perfect yoga lessons in the morning. And the kitchen staff for al perfect food en drinks. You feel like family!

I stayed at the Sabai Sabai last week. The place is really beautiful and has great potential, nature, sea and relax. The staff is friendly and always available, but the owners aren't good: almost never present, or always on their balcony, they never smile, they treat the staff badly, they are disorganized, blame each other or blame the staff, they complain about everything, they quarrel among themselves. It almost seems like it is a torture for them to stay here and this is evident to the guests, the atmosphere is horrible with them. The only advice I would give them is to change job, don't work there if you just want to relax!

Hi doris we are sorry you had this experience here. During this time we had a personal problem causing a lot of stess to us so were probably not our normal selves. And we our blessed you decided to extend your stay with us by 5 extra days despite your feelings. We pride ourselves on our hospitality and with great appreciation our guests experiences and reviews show that is the norm. Things sure cannot be perfect all the time alhough we try and my personal belief is understanding and a gentler approach to judgements is a kinder way. We are again sorry our problem affected your holiday

A great little resort that offers island style laidback environment right on the beach. Beautiful sunrise, the area seems to have a constant breeze, Bungalows on the beach has very soft good beds. Food holds good quality and restaurant is set under roof as well as seating close to beach. We stayed for 4 days and explored the island by motorbike. Many beautiful beach spots for sunset and day swimming with in 20 min from the resort. Glad to have chosen this place. Very hospital owners and staff. Would recommend highly to families and for anyone that likes a relaxing vacation. All the best from the end of a great stay.
