We arrived at Heaven Beach resort after a long journey from Chaing mai to be met by smiling, Happy faces. The resort itself is situated on Buffalo beach, which is the quietest of the two beaches and somewhat more sheltered than long Beach. It is perfect for families and couples. We arrived in what would be considered high season, but you would not think so and you can find your quiet spot with hardly anyone on it. The beach itself is pure beautiful white sand that still retains some beach even at high tide at this location. (Not every resort does) 5 steps from our bungalow to the beach. Amazing!!!
The bungalow we stayed in had a double bed with a new mattress and a single bed also.
Some of the bungalows have two rooms, one with a double bed and one with a king-size bed and a single bed, also.
Fridge, plenty of hanging room and storage. The bathroom is a good size with two sinks, great.
The staff have been truly amazing, the food at this resort is excellent and, in my opinion, the best on this beach but still other resorts offering other menus. This resort has everything you need for a great stay. Good road into resort, great staff that speak excellent English and knowledgeable on everything that will make your stay on the island enjoyable and memorable.
I had my 60th birthday at this resort, where my partner, with the help of Wan, the owner, and the staff, created a magical surprise that included a wonderful day out on the resort boat and a candle light dinner on the beach. Was blown away so much so that we have now confirmed our wedding to be held here one year form now.

We had both lunch and dinner at this hotel. The food was very good and the view is amazing It also has a small collection of silver jewelry to look at while waiting for your food.. It is located at Buffalo Bay, in our option the best beach at Koh Phayam.

We booked for four nights and then returned for another two weeks. Gorgeous spacious bungalows, with comfortable beds, amazing open air shower rooms with H and C water and verandahs with sunbeds. The front row of bungalows were right on the beach. Their beach cafe was good and catered for all tastes. The beach itself is lovely and peaceful. There were a few other resorts along it so you could eat elsewhere if you wanted a change of scene. Wan the manageress was absolutely fantastic and helpful. All the staff were really friendly and good with guests of all ages. We loved it and look forward to going back.

I don't understand how this place can be considered open ... No restaurant, no internet, no service, the road to reach the structure is unpaved and without maintenance and therefore very dangerous. I understand the problems related to Covid and the low season but this is not acceptable. Too bad because the beach is very beautiful and it would really take a little common sense.

I spent two nights at this wonderful resort with my girlfriend.
Staff was very friendly, warm and ready to help. The owners were also really helpful and made our journey back to mainland very comfortable, letting the Moto-taxi drivers know exactly where they should drop us to have a wonderful breakfast that we decided to have next to the pier.
The location is perfect if you prefer staying away of the noisy and crowded buffalo beach. The beach area is just perfect in November.
The bungalows could have been cleaned more thoroughly but the overall cleanliness was good enough and the bad was very comfortable. A big fan located over the bed provided the perfect room temperature.
The open-sky bathroom was clean and nicely set up.
The coconut-cashewnut shakes were the best we've had in Thailand though the Thai food was only OK. It was nicely cooked but not as tasty as we'd loved. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, maybe even very good, but disappointingly not as good as in the restaurant on the next resort (south).
I definitely recommend this place!!!!! I am looking forward to coming back to Koh Phayam to enjoy a couple of days either at this resort or at PPLand (same owners).
Thanks a lot for two very nice days!

This resort has turned into THE place to be on Koh Phayam. I stayed recently in the marvelous "sister" resort of ppland a few kilometres away as I was there for a full month and needed the 100% wifi over there for my writing project, but wandered over to Heaven (as everyone calls it on the island) daily to hang out, drink a shake, stare at the water or have a meal from fish that we'd caught ourselves. The staff are lovely, Wan is as angelic as ever and the site is perfect. I stayed in one of the delightful bungalows the previous year. Visitors here tend to be honeymooners, young families, rather than backpackers - even if by western standards this place is ridiculously cheap. Book ahead! People often come for two days and want to stay on!

I've stayed with a friend at Heaven beach resort for 6 nights. I'm still overwhelmed by what I've experienced.
First I want to mention the hospitality of the owner and staff of the resort, which really impressed me. Wan, the chef of the restaurant is simply gorgeous! She's putting a lot of effort and passion in her job which is reflecting in a lovely & unique designed restaurant & menu.
As I'm vegan Wan recommended a special restaurant where I have a bigger menu to choose from. It is more important to her that you are satisfied than looking for her own benefit.

Nevertheless I have to recommend "Cha Chai"restaurant to anybody who loves healthy & delicious vegetarian food! Wan's friend, Charmaine is the chef of the place and she's also such a wonderful person! To be honest I've never been at a restaurant before where I got such a big variety of different meals and drinks. Normally I'd think less is more and the quality might suffers when the menu is that big but every meal and drink I had was beyond words!
Bye the way Charmaine is teaching Hatha yoga at the beach, which was a wonderful experience! You shouldn't miss that out!!

The bungalows at Heaven beach resort are located very close to the beach with an amazing view as you can imagine! The outdoor bathroom is really lush btw!!
Koh Phayam is a place where you can forget about all the stress and craziness of life. It's very laid back and beautiful, so I'll definitely come back soon!
The beach is amazing and you can tell that places like that are rare!
Make sure you bring enough money as Wan is an amazing designer of jewellery and there's no ATM on the island. She even creates jewellery of your own specific wishes!

I can recommend the resort to everybody who is looking for an escape of the busy and stressful daily life. As the island is still natural and not overcrowded by tourists hot water and 24 hours electricity is not a matter of course, however the heaven beach resort provides that standard.
Thanks and all the best to Wan & the entire Heaven Beach Team! See you soon again :-)))
Nina

With little to do on Koh Phayam it makes the perfect place to relax. We only spent three days here and it was truly the best three days of my Holiday.
The bungalows are clean, they have a safe and hot water is always a plus. The staff go above and beyond and make some great food to have on the beech.

We flew from Bangkok via Happy Air to Ranong, stayed one night there and arranged a boat to Koh Phayam via Pons place. Well worth the time and expense to get there. I will be back, as once you've been you won't won't to leave.

we stayed in heaven beach for the second time this year, and found it unchanged in perfect condition. a little afraid to tell how lovely the place really is (we might get no room in the future cause bookings might rise), we have to say, its true hospitality, lovely happy service and great food.
As back-packers in former times we love the combination of informal atmosphere and friendlyness with the convinience of a well-build bungalow( lots of space and beautiful open air bathroom, hot water, good quality-mattress ,power 24/7 , and if you like even catering-service to your private terrace ).Nature is always close: instead of tv, watch hornbills and hermit crabs just passing by to the sound of the waves.... Bored of all the hiltons, hyatts and kempinskis the place for us to be is heaven beach. R+E
