The lodge we stayed in was lovely. Everything you would need and more was inside. The three en suite rooms were very spacious. The sauna was really nice. They even provide free transport and back to the ‘local’ (The White Swan) where the food was very good. I’ll certainly be back.
This was our first visit at Studford lodges and can I say it won’t be the last,it was amazing they have really thought about every little detail, the quality of the furnishings are outstanding,we loved how you are totally scheduled in your luxurious tree house, can’t wait for our return next year for our daughters 40th birthday 😍
Our second visit and it seems to have got even better. The lodges are amazing and equipped with everything you could need. They’re also in a beautiful part of the world with trails on your doorstep and beautiful villages a short drive (or walk) away. The staff are really friendly and helpful and we’re looking forward to coming back again….and again….and again 👍
We have just left the stunning Studford Lodges- what a beautiful place to stay!! From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble, Stephanie was especially very helpful- thank you! The lodge is very well equipped with everything you can think of, no need to pack tea towels, washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets it’s all there for you!! Our two boys were very impressed with the PS4 with shelves of games available from reception, the football goal was also a big hit. Fantastic hot tub with all towels and dressing gowns provided. We had a delicious meal at The Swan Inn- chauffeured there and back by Dave- courtesy of Studford. The local area is beautiful, stunning walks with beautiful views!! We ventured out to Whitby beach and Go Ape. We also brought our dog with us which definitely made the holiday! We will definitely be back 😃…
Stayed here with 18 friends we had three lodges and it was totally brilliant in every way. The attention to detail is second to none. We had a power cut on the Saturday which was dealt with immediately by the super helpful staff we couldn’t have been more impressed. Will definitely visit again and would recommend to all. Thank you for an excellent weekend.
Cannot fault anything about our stay ,the lodges were stunning and absolutely beautiful, the site and the location and the staff were excellent and very helpful ,cannot wait till our next stay ,hopefully soon
We have been coming to Studford every year from Dec 2017 . Sadly 2020 was denied but the booking was moved painlessly to this year. It was like welcoming back an old friend! We stayed a week after storm Arwen when there had been a few problems but these had all been sorted. Sadly the beautiful woodland had suffered quite a bit of damage but will no doubt regenerate to be as beautiful as before. To return many times to the same location requires a special blend of facilities, location, and service ; suffice to say we have booked again for next year. I won't go over all the specifics as they are all accurately described in other reviews. The only comment I have is that previously the internet performance could be troublesome but it seems there are new routers and the performance was flawless. A tranquil oasis of luxury just perfect for a family chill and time together. Thanks as always to the team who make it possible. See you next year!…
We eventually stayed here after a few date moves due to Covid. We could not have hit any luckier for weather in November We were in Badger 1. Very luxurious feel to the lodges and fab having your own hot tub and sauna. The bathrooms however are extremely tight with not much room for manoeuvre. Very clean with lashings of hot water and clean towels and sheets. Log burner gives off loads of heat. Hot tub was perfect temperature and sauna was great to relax in after a hard day exploring. We went to Helmsley one day and Malton the next, both short scenic drives away. We took advantage of the fabulous Chauffeur Dave who drove us to the Fairfax arms for dinner one night. We self catered for the other two nights and found the utensils and oven/grill was fine. Lovely location for a quiet getaway and we had clear skies so the stars at night were amazing. Squirrels entertained us but didn't see much more wildlife. Great stay and a great base for exploring but just as nice for chilling in all day if you want to stay in the lodge.…
We have had a fabulous relaxing girls chill out break at studford lodge's. The setting in the woods is peaceful and tranquill. Luxury all the way beautiful lodges Great place will definitely go back Best stay ever
A wonderful luxury lodge in the woods! The setting is so peaceful. The lodge is beautifully presented and equipped with everything you need for a weekend away. The welcome pack was fantastic and a really nice addition. The lodges are big enough for couples in a family to have their own private space and the communal areas are spacious to all be together! The added touches such as robes, slippers and bathroom essentials are great. The taxi service provided to the local pubs is wonderful. There are some lovely walks around the area too. We are hoping to make this place an annual holiday with the family! The only downside is checkout. Checkout was at 9am which made it difficult for us to pack everything up, have breakfast, clean and get the baby in the family ready as well! You are expected to strip the bedding and collate towels into a big laundry bag. This slightly took the luxury aspect out of our final morning unfortunately. It would be great if there were options for later check out.…
