We stayed for a family weekend last year and enjoyed it so much we booked for the same weekend this year. Sometimes when you return somewhere its just not the same, however, Studford was just as warm, welcoming, and luxurious as before. Just a perfect location to go and unwind,

Not a quick walk. The lodges also provide a bus service to the Fairfax in Gilling and the White Swan in Ampleforth, both really good pubs.

We didn't use the coffee machine while we were there so I have no idea what type it is, sorry. I phoned to ask questions a couple of times before we went and found whoever answered the phone was really knowledgeable and helpful, definitely worth a phone call if no one else on tripadvisor can help!

Sorry for the late reply, 2 of our 6 lodges allow dogs, we have never had any complaints about dogs. We have complimentary doggy bags and dog bins on our woodland walk.

Hi Dawn My apologies for not answering sooner, it's just come through for some reason. You're right, the sofa seats 3, 4 would be a bit of a squash, and we have 2 easy chairs, but the dining room chairs are the comfiest I've ever sat in, I'd happily watch a film in one. Regards Rob
