We stayed for a week following the storm, only wish we had stayed longer. Superb hotel. The place is spotless, the staff are great - nothing is too much trouble for anyone. The English lady on reception - sorry forgot her name - was so helpful with everything. Breakfast was great, huge choice and fresh every day. We ate in the restaurant in the evening a couple of times and the food again was very nice. Only one very small complaint is that there was limited food at the pool bar during the day, fantastic hotel, we will deff visit again

We chose to stay at the Magic Hotel based on all of the fabulous reviews that we had read, we were not disappointed. The hotel is really well located in Agia Paraskevi with the beach a short 10 minute walk away as well as a variety of tavernas and bars where you can take a walk to in the evening if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Skaithos Town. It is worth nothing that the access to the hotel is via a steep drive or set of stairs so is something to be considering if you have any mobility challenges. The rooms and all of the communal areas are maintained to a very high standard, which gave a good first impression, the hotel is immaculate and the team obviously work hard to keep the hotel is great shape. We stayed in a Deluxe double room with a sea view, the room was very well equipped and the view was very good. One small point to note in our room was that the dressing table did not have a mirror, there was a large mirror on the opposite wall but no plug, so a bit of an inconvenience when getting ready to go out but we worked around it. The team at the hotel are some of the best we have experienced, service really is with a smile and they take a genuine interest in making sure that you are enjoying your stay. A shout out to Julian and his team in the restaurant who work hard to deliver a personalised service. The pool area is wonderful and relaxing, non of the crazy drama of people reserving sunbeds and not using them. The area is small and tranquil just what you want in order to relax on your holidays. The pool bar offer a good service of ice cold drinks and bar snacks. We absolutely loved our stay and are already planning a return visit next year. …

Stayed at the Magic hotel - comfortable room with en suite, balcony view of the sea, excellent daily room service. Lovely breakfasts with plenty of choice and option for fresh omelettes. Evening meals at The View restaurant were also excellent. Waiters Julian and Jimmy were great. Pool area and bar were quiet and relaxing with a good choice of food and drinks during the day. The hotel excelled during 4 days of Storm Daniel. The hotel generator prevented power cuts that affected much of Skiathos, the restaurant was able to maintain its breakfast and evening meal menus despite considerable damage to the island infrastructure and the whole staff team were superb throughout- nothing was too much trouble. Well done Magic hotel - would highly recommend.

Last year whilst staying at the Princess 5 Star Resort we noticed this hotel over the road and were curious to visit to compare. We soon wised we hadn't! Upon our arrival at the hotel there was no friendly or professional welcome waiting for us in fact the lady at reception was very rude, bossy and unprofessional. The room that my husband and I had booked looked tired and in need of some work. There was no mirror above what seemed to be a dressing table which for a lady who wants to do her hair and make up was useless!!!! I had to stand in the bathroom and use the mirror in there which was very uncomfortable as there was nowhere to sit! The bathroom looked very clinical, not modern at all, more like a hospital. Some of the staff were OK but mostly seemed stressed and unwilling to help. We were surprised that we didn't have tea/coffee facilities in the room and after requesting these they never arrived. In comparison to the Princess Hotel over the road I would choose to book there every time as it is far superior to this hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean, staff are professional and welcoming, tea/coffee facilities are provided in rooms, dressing table with mirror and comfortable chair, amazing views, private beach and the room rates are less than the Magic hotel which is only a 4 star. The Magic Hotel seems to be over priced for what it is and what it provides, certainly not worth the money. I would not recommend this Hotel and cannot wait to return to the 5 star luxury of the Princess Hotel.…

This hotel is perfect and the staff are first class. Room was immaculate. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and additional items cooked on request. Pool area was very tidy and there was always sun beds which came with supplied towels.

We stayed here for a week to celebrate our 21 wedding anniversary and everything was perfect. The room was spacious clean and comfortable with three showers and a whirlpool bath. Fantastic breakfast with a lovely view. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone! Thanks.

This hotel was better than the pictures. The staff was so friendly and helpful from the first enquiry sent to checking out. We absolutely loved the buffet breakfasts!! So much to choose from, from fresh fruit to freshly made pancakes, something for the whole family.

TRULY MAGIC! Me and my mum recently stayed at this fabulous hotel this July for 10 days. We hadn’t been abroad for 5 years so were feeling very nervous but as soon as we stepped foot into the magic hotel our worries were gone. Firstly, the staff members at the magic hotel are all SO friendly and welcoming, every single member of staff from the receptionists to the pool bar staff and the restaurant staff were so kind, friendly and helpful with a special mention to Monica who made us feel so at home and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect with recommendations of places to visit on the island and also by helping us yo arrange things such as a boat trip. The room we stayed in was a deluxe sea view room, the room was absolutely perfect, lovely sea view, a clothes maiden on the balcony to dry our bikinis and towels. The air conditioning in our room and the rest of the hotel was fabulous and so needed in the heat wave. The pool area was gorgeous, always plenty of sunbeds available, a lovely seating area also with egg chairs and comfy seats with some shade. Enjoyed having a toastie and drink here many days. The location of the hotel was really lovely, it was really nice to come away from the hustle and bustle of the town and back to the calmer vibe of Agia Paraskevi with some nice tavernas around and the lovely beach! Over all I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough it was absolutely perfect and we will not hesitate to come back!…

Amazing hotel- very comfortable beds, rooms cleaned daily,great breakfast with poached eggs or omelettes cooked when requested.All staff friendly and helpful.There were quite a lot of steps to our room but kept us fit! Fabulous hotel with very friendly staff. We stayed in a deluxe double sea view room which was fabulous. The room was cleaned daily with new towels and bedding. The hotel is on a hill with many steps so it may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast was lovely so much to choose from. You could also have omelette, poached eggs etc made freshly to order. Julian in the dining area was a lovely guy and even remembered everyone’s hot drinks each morning! Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Would highly recommend. We will definitely be back again.
