TRULY MAGIC!
Me and my mum recently stayed at this fabulous hotel this July for 10 days. We hadn’t been abroad for 5 years so were feeling very nervous but as soon as we stepped foot into the magic hotel our worries were gone. Firstly, the staff members at the magic hotel are all SO friendly and welcoming, every single member of staff from the receptionists to the pool bar staff and the restaurant staff were so kind, friendly and helpful with a special mention to Monica who made us feel so at home and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect with recommendations of places to visit on the island and also by helping us yo arrange things such as a boat trip.
The room we stayed in was a deluxe sea view room, the room was absolutely perfect, lovely sea view, a clothes maiden on the balcony to dry our bikinis and towels. The air conditioning in our room and the rest of the hotel was fabulous and so needed in the heat wave.
The pool area was gorgeous, always plenty of sunbeds available, a lovely seating area also with egg chairs and comfy seats with some shade. Enjoyed having a toastie and drink here many days.
The location of the hotel was really lovely, it was really nice to come away from the hustle and bustle of the town and back to the calmer vibe of Agia Paraskevi with some nice tavernas around and the lovely beach!
Over all I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough it was absolutely perfect and we will not hesitate to come back!

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday thanks to the staff at this beautiful hotel.
We arrived unannounced due to our original accommodation not being suitable for us.
The staff were so helpful and Monica kindly gave us room options that were available during the time we were in Skiathos.
The rooms were bright, modern and spotlessly clean. The sea views were superb and we had clean towels etc daily.
We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and enjoyed dinner on a couple of occasions at the View which was so nice. The restaurant staff were so polite, attentive and always welcomed you with a smile. There were so many options for breakfast from sausages and bacon to fresh fruit and pastries. We also had omelettes a couple of times which they were happy to cook for you if asked.
The pool area is very well kept and we spent a few days sunbathing and relaxing there. Pool and beach towels are readily available for residents.
We have visited Skiathos several times and can honestly say my husband and I found our stay at Magic Hotel to be one of the best we’ve experienced in Skiathos.
Thank you again for everything, you made our holiday really special and we will definitely return.

We had 11 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a standard room but it was lovely and more than adequate with a sea view and large terrace. Towels changed every day and room cleaned to a high standard every day. Housekeeping team very friendly too. Breakfast is a great choice with hot and cold buffet options and also extra hot options to order if you wish. The View Restaurant is very high quality and a lovely place to dine for Evening Dinner. This is also where Breakfast is served. So lovely to have breakfast with a sea view! The pool is nice and because it was June was quiet every day. Probably gets busier July and August. Pool and beach towels are provided too which is always a bonus. The Pool Bar had limited hours and menus during our stay but was opening longer just as we left.
There are lots of steps to all levels of the Hotel and a steep drive too so you need to be aware of this prior to booking. We soon got used to the steps and the views more than make up for it!
Our only criticism is cleaning around the pool area could be better both around the pool and bar area. Also the fake grass areas. We mentioned the fake grass issue whilst there but saw no improvement during our stay unfortunately. However, we had two plumbing issues with our room and both were fixed quickly- we were very impressed with that!
All in all this is an amazing hotel perfectly located for a stay in Agia Paraskevi. We recommend 100% and hope to be back sometime.

We stayed in the middle of August and had a fantastic stay . The hotel was spotless and rooms were lovely always cleaned on a daily basis . The pool area relatively small but was of high standard . Had a small pool side bar with food and drinks . Nice quiet ambience with lovely sunbeds very comfortable. Always had beds available. Is little road noise which didn’t cause any concern . The staff are lovely , in the restaurant and reception. The manager she was very friendly and always stopped for a chat . If you need anything they are there to help . Food in restaurant was very nice and we had breakfast every day and was lovely and plentiful. There are a lot of stairs to rooms etc so if stairs is difficult then can be an issue . Towels for beach and pool are provided free of charge .
Location wise it was perfect 10 mins on bus to main town . Beach just across the road with nice beach bar and calm clear warm waters . Loads of nice restaurants around the area if you want to stay local .
Restaurants we liked were ; lithos taverna, taverna maistrali , both down a side road just past supermarket on left .
pork and roll ( for lunch ) do a lovely gyros .
But use the hotel restaurant they do lovely food as well .
Bus into town is easy bout 10 mins and run regularly.
Would we go back again ? MOST DEFINITELY!
One thing to add, nothing to do with hotel . But the supermarket just down from hotel on left the man in there was horrible when u pay for goods and you want to pay in local currency so your bank does the exchange rate , you think you are paying in euros and right before it goes through he presses a button to pay in your countries currency so you pay a lot more for the goods . I had a big argument as he doesn’t ask the customer how they want to pay but on screen you think you are paying in euros until it’s too late . Make sure you say you want to pay in euros !!! ( well it is the currency displayed on the goods )

We stayed at the Magic Hotel for 7 nights in June and we have stayed in Skiathos twice before this trip and this hotel is our favourite so far.
Monica the manager was very welcoming and helpful at all times. In fact all staff were great, particularly jimmy who worked very hard at the pool bar and then at the restaurant at the evenings too, very friendly. Julian in the restaurant made sure everything ran smoothly and was always very friendly too.
The breakfasts were lovely and eaten outside with the lovely views.
The dinners at the hotel restaurant called The View were the best we had all week in Skiathos so we ate there 3 evenings.
Pool, bedrooms, restaurant and communal areas all very clean and tidy.
All in all a great hotel and hoilday.

Lovely hotel great location centre of the island just on edge of Agia Paraskevi. Close to beach shops and tavernas. Bus stop 16
We ended up booking this hotel last minute due to TUI cancelling out original hotel in Troulos at the airport. That’s another review.
We fell really lucky to be able to book this lovely hotel. Yes there are a lot of steps so I would agree if you have mobility issues this may not be the best hotel. But it kept us fit during our 2 week stay:
Room:
Spotlessly clean. Maid in daily to mop and put clean towels and bed made. Plenty of wardrobe and draw space and plenty of coat hangers. Fridge in wardrobe. We had a lovely view from balcony.
Breakfast:
Amazing every day plenty of choice, from cooked items egg bacon sausage beans. A great toaster with plenty of bread choice. Pastries, cakes,Fruit, cereals. The staff are all lovely even remembered our drinks order every day.
Pool:
Spotless no need to fights for sun beds as plenty free everyday and people do not reserve them. Clean towels on every bed and they are so comfy. More fresh towels by the pool bar if required.
Pool bar:
Both girls were lovely and friendly who served at the bar. Nice frosted glasses for Mythos and if you order at bar they will bring to lounger.
Food lovely but little choice and this is where I think they could improve and maybe offer more choice such as pizza or sandwiches tuna, cheese ect or a Greek wrap. If we were at the pool we would go out and eat in one the restaurants.
Reception:
All staff really helpful and friendly. Shorted us a boat trip and would order taxis on request and helped us with a reservation in a taverna in the mountains as not many taxis would drive there.
Overall we had an amazing holiday and fell in love with Skiathos. You will not be disappointed if you book this hotel.

Last year whilst staying at the Princess 5 Star Resort we noticed this hotel over the road and were curious to visit to compare. We soon wised we hadn't! Upon our arrival at the hotel there was no friendly or professional welcome waiting for us in fact the lady at reception was very rude, bossy and unprofessional. The room that my husband and I had booked looked tired and in need of some work. There was no mirror above what seemed to be a dressing table which for a lady who wants to do her hair and make up was useless!!!! I had to stand in the bathroom and use the mirror in there which was very uncomfortable as there was nowhere to sit! The bathroom looked very clinical, not modern at all, more like a hospital. Some of the staff were OK but mostly seemed stressed and unwilling to help. We were surprised that we didn't have tea/coffee facilities in the room and after requesting these they never arrived. In comparison to the Princess Hotel over the road I would choose to book there every time as it is far superior to this hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean, staff are professional and welcoming, tea/coffee facilities are provided in rooms, dressing table with mirror and comfortable chair, amazing views, private beach and the room rates are less than the Magic hotel which is only a 4 star. The Magic Hotel seems to be over priced for what it is and what it provides, certainly not worth the money. I would not recommend this Hotel and cannot wait to return to the 5 star luxury of the Princess Hotel.

Response from Monica Anagnostou, General Manager at Magic Hotel
Responded 24 Sept 2023
Dear soho26, With regards your stay at our hotel, we are very sorry that we did not fulfil your expectations. All the team here at the Magic Hotel are friendly, hard-working and go out of their way to ensure each and every guest enjoys their stay with us. We will of course take into consideration your feedback of the room and the facilities which were "useless, uncomfortable and clinical". It would have been more civilised, if you had approached us directly during your stay, so we could have resolved some of these issues, instead of lashing out on the internet behind a pseudonym. Once again, we're very sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us and even more so that you didn't give us the opportunity to try to resolve these issues. Sincerely, Magic Hotel team & management

This is our second time in Skiathos but first time in Magic Hotel - won’t be our last! The hotel is in a great location at bus stop 16 and 5 minutes to the beach. The staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you. We loved the pool area, proper comfy sunbeds and no reserving meaning a choice every day with fabulous views. A great pool bar with two lovely ladies who remembered your orders, as do the waiter at breakfast who was also great. The hotel is really clean and spacious. I used the gym and my only ask would be to add some weights to the cardio equipment available. We also used the View Restaurant and loved it so much we went back on our last night - the best food we had despite having beautiful meals at the local tavernas every night. So much choice of bars and restaurants within 5 to 10 mins walk. And the steps were worth it for the views and burning a few calories!! Loved it!

Our stay at Magic Hotel was comfortable and quiet.
Situated on a hill that offers an excellent view of the bay and an opportunity to keep physically fit (after climbing the steps leading to the hotel rooms), Magic Hotel excels in kindness, cleanliness, tranquility, pleasant and friendly staff.
Monica greeted us at the reception speaking excellent English, she helped us a lot and we thank her again in this way !!!
The rooms are spacious, clean, well soundproofed (although the hotel is near the road that crosses the island), and in the superior suite we had the advantage of having a washing machine, which was welcome for us .
The pool and jacuzzi are clean and maintained daily, the hotel as a whole is elegant and well maintained.
The beach is not far, it is only an 8 minute walk, but the road to the beach is not arranged at all, which is quite unpleasant.
All the necessary measures during this period of Covid 19 pandemic were brilliantly fulfilled at Magic Hotel.
Breakfast is served in an area overlooking the sea, it was sufficiently and excellently served and we thank our compatriot, who received us every morning with a smile on his face and pampered us with everything we wanted to taste for breakfast !!!
We thank the entire team at Magic Hotel for making our stay enjoyable !!!

Well what a wonderful find - we stayed for 2 weeks and had one of the best holidays of our life. Ok, it may have a fair few steps but boy what a reward with the views. Every corner is spotlessly clean, staff helpful & friendly. The breakfast was perfect to suit most tastes and ‘ The View ‘ restaurant served Fabulous meals and free ouzo ! We stayed in June and there were plenty of sunbeds and reserving with towels is not allowed. Maybe would get a little short in peak season. The pool is large and just what you need after a trip into Skiathos town. If I had to find a fault it would be that there is a little traffic noise otherwise 10/10 .
