So beautiful as soon as you enter ,all the palm trees ,with birds. A lot of space inside ,you can follow your way easily with the numbers ,until a nice bedroom and a large shower . everything you need is here. Dinner close to the chemney was good .for breakfast the table was too small to put all the plates ,juice ....thinking only to come back to stay longer .one Bad thing i coun't pay by card as the waiter told me .

It's probably the nicest hotel there. Pool is nice, rooms nothing special. On one bed we had some little "animals" (don't know what kind), breakfast is also nothing special. The website looked more promising. There are quite a lot of better hotels in Marocco for the same price or eaven cheaper white better service.

Chez le Pacha is located in the most southern point of Morocco and beautifully laid out. There are 20 rooms (16 tent rooms and 4 suites), we had one of the latter ones. The suite was in a rustic cottage offering quite a lot of space, a double bed and a single bed, a sitting area, a somewhat frugal bathroom and a large terrace. The hotel has a very nice pool and an appealing garden. Different excursions to the nearby desert are offered, i.e. camel riding, 4&4 trips etc. As far as food is concerned, a small breakfast buffet is at your disposal (not very attractively presented) and an unspectacular dinner (three courses) is served.
All in all, If you want to have a desert feeling then it’s the place to go, otherwise you don’t need to go further than Zagora (but I have to admit that I don’t know the hotels there …).

There was an attentive welcome at Reception upon arrival and we were checked into our rooms quickly. It has good facilities and the decent sized pool is a welcome break from the heat with a well-stocked bar nearby.

My room was large and had a king-sized bed with2 further singles, the bathroom and toilet was en-suite, but in common with other aspects of the hotel was getting a bit long in the tooth. The toilet light was a bare bulb hanging out of the wall and the shower head was so loose in its holder it was fairly random where the water went as you turned the pressure up.
The room was dusty (needed a quick once over) and one of my travelling comapnions complained the sheets hadn’t been changed prior to our stay.

The restaurant food was pretty poor to be honest, but with no alternatives in the area, you’re stuck with it. The soup was served with a bit of theatre, but was watery and a supermarket canned job would have been preferable, the main was fine, but the orange salad (plate of prepared oranges) wasn’t even ripe.

The pricing was reasonable, so all considered, if the room cleanliness was a bit better, then this would be an OK place to spend a day or two at the edge of the Sahara. The food was OK as no-one was ill -and as long as you don’t go in expecting too much, then you will be fine. I think this also has to be viewed in the context of not being a 5* in western Europe… so in that context not so bad?

Situated in the midst of the palm trees of Ouled Driss, the hotel "Chez le Pacha" is a unique
place of peace and rest. Built thoroughly in the local style of architecture, I perceived it as a radiant star of charm
and authenticity.

Corresponding with the hosts' commitment to origin and tradition, the rooms you encounter here are
spacious and decorated with numerous elements of Moroccan handicraft. A perfect place to marvel over your desert
experiences! Moreover, the delicious, orientally flavoured food offered by the hotel's own restaurant distinctly
enhanced my feeling of well-being. What makes the stay here truly unforgettable, however, is the unrivalled warmth and
friendliness of the hosts and their team. In short, a place I'd wish to be my second home.

WE had an amazing two day stay at Hotel Chez La Pacha which included one night at the hotel and another in the desert camp. Mohammid and his whole staff couldn't have been nicer and more accomodating. We upgarded ourselves to the suite which was beautiful, big and very comfortable. The desert trip was amazing. We rode camels in and stayed at the camp about an hour and a half away. They served wondeful food and we were treated to some amazing live authentic music! The best part was at our request they pulled our mattresses outside so we could sleep under the stars which is like nothing we;ve ever seen. When we got back from teh desert the next morning (and were on our way to leave) the staff let us use an extra room to shower and change which was perfect. The town of MHamid is worth the visit. You feel like you really are at teh end of the road (which you are). Can't recommend it enough.
