Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Bedding and towels were dirty and stained, obviously not washed before my stay. Room is old fashioned and dirty, rubbish left from previous guest. Room was cold and dark heating did not work. Would never stay here again

Stopped for one night on the way back from the far north. Very convenient location and well equipped comfortable room for the low price. Chosen because the nightly rate was a little lower than other nearby hotels on that particular night. Downside was that being at a Mway service station there was a lot of traffic through the night. Not excessive but I was at the end near the lorry park and there was a constant drone from, I think, refrigeration units. Also only places to eat were in the Mway service station and we're the usually selection of poor quality overpriced fast food. Think in future I'd pay the extra for one the branches next door to a pub where I can get a proper meal.

A lovely warm welcome from the receptionist, really cheered me up after a long drive. The hotel was excellently clean, and it was warm and quiet - I got a great night's sleep. It's quick to access from the motorway. It's budget, no frills, and I'd certainly stay here again.

I found myself unexpectedly requiring a room for the night when my car broke down at Stirling services and I was awaiting breakdown recovery. My luck was in with Travelodge and I had a very restful night in a clean room and extremely comfortable bed. Would happily recommend an overnight stay here.

Way way way too hot and clammy. Baring in mind it's Scotland in February so you would think it would be cool but the room was so hot we couldn't sleep and ended up leaving at around 11pm to carry on our journey. So it was a huge waste of money. There is no air conditioning in the rooms and although there is a small electric heater that can not be where the heat comes from because it was turned off upon entering the sauna type heat.

Filthy room, soiled bedding, poorly maintained. Rooms cleaned by bots meaning that which means that edges of the room are filthy, covered in dust, spiders webs and dead spiders and under the bed there was rubbish and even more dust where the bots cannot reach.
