Stayed for 2 nights B&B in the log cabin which was brilliant. Warm, comfortable, cosy, accommodation in an immaculate condition. Breakfast which is served in the main farmhouse was SUPERB. Libby and her Husband Archie are the perfect hosts. Thanks very much, am sure I will return.

Lovely rooms and a lovely setting. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Libby served up a great full breakfast, met us at the train station, and even arranged taxi service to the airport for us. Location-wise, I'm still amazed that we could stay somewhere so pastoral and still explore from the Antonine Wall to Linlithgow Palace without a... More

We needed an overnight stop near Glasgow and this was perfect. We stayed in the log cabin which was lovely and cosy, the heating had been put on ready for our arrival. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning served in the main house overlooking the gardens. Libby is a really warm and friendly host. Thanks very much -... More

I have to say this is possibly one of the best Bed & Breakfasts I have ever stayed in The accommodation and hospitality is first class, everything you could ask for and more. The Log cabin is very cosy and warm, has a lounge, kitchen area, shower & twin beds and kept to a high standard. Breakfast served in the... More

What a great place with the perfect host! Our room was large and comfortable, and the area quiet...perfect for a good nights rest. Although the bathroom was shared, it was always clean and available for our needs. The host was a doll! She knew that we were on a month long hiking trip and insisted on washing our clothes for... My friend and I stayed at Allanfauld Farm for three nights at the beginning of October. I cannot thank Libby enough for the welcome and warmth she showed us during our stay. Stayed here this weekend and can only say it's faultless. Libby is lovely and shows great interest in her guests. We were on the pubs lodge and it was lovely and warm, and sitting with the door open today, it was great to listen to peace and quiet. All in all, a great place 👍👍😁😁

we were running out of accommodation options when we were directed to Allanfauld Farm by the coachman hotel. We were warmly welcomed by Libby and settled into a fabulous room in the main house. In the morning we were treated to a great breakfast before we continued our journey but the memory of Allanfauld farm will remain one of the... More

We stayed here for three nights in April and thoroughly enjoyed it. My son loved playing with the dogs, and the fresh air. The first night there we where going to sleep to the sound of the cows mooing in the background. It was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. The hostess was delightful nothing too much trouble.

Having read previous reviews about the steep hill we, six weary walkers took a taxi to the farm from the Union Canal. We were warmly welcomed by Libby who settled us in and made a dinner reservation for us. Family members drove us to the restaurant and collected us afterwards. Accommodation was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. We were... More
