Stayed here as was in Scotland for a Family wedding, brilliant little gem of a cottage. Gwen was an amazing host & would always go out of her way to even offer a lift up to town or even the train station if needed, room was exceptional & so was the full English ( or should I say SCOTTISH) breakfast...

I stayed in brae cottage for a couple of days it was excellent.the host Gwen was very good the room was nice,breakfast was very good I would definitely go back to brea cottage again,When I'm in Edinburgh in a few months time I Hope I can stay there again.

Stayed here for one night and would be happy to stay again in the future. Gwen was most welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much bother. Breakfast was great, home made and delicious. Room was warm and comfortable with TV, tea and coffe making facilites and very comfy be

Went to stay at braea cottages for my nieces wedding gwen was like a breath of fresh air nothing was to much trouble she even did our hair for the wedding mine and my sisters her family were freindly as well going back in three weeks time to stay thanks alot

I recently stayed here for a week and couldnt of been happier. This was my first time in Edinburgh and Gwen was amazing. She couldnt of done any more for me. The room was clean, beds were comfy. Great location and a great big conservatory for chilling out in. Would definitely recommend and stay here again! Thanks Gwen!

Gwen is the best hostess she makes you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble for her. The accommodation is excellent and the breakfast is brilliant. I will definitely stay there again. Thanks Gwen

We have just got home from staying at Brae Cottage and we had a lovely time. The place is spotless and well decorated. The B&B side of the property is amazing - we had access to a fantastic conservatory which lead to the garden. Hostess was super friendly and helpful. I enjoyed their dogs company too although they are usually...

great place...very cosy and nice helpful hostess...super breakfast- no lunch necessary....nice facilites in room......comfy bed......very good welcome and lots of information on area.......Hostess went out of her way to help with various questions and let us access her ipad....thank you so much.

Clean, welcoming and confortable place, very good location, pleasant hostess and yummy breakfast! Thanks Gwen, for your kindness. Our staying was one of the best we've had and your help and suggestions were absolutely needed from turists like us! We felt like part of the family!

Thanks Gwen, our stay with you was one of the best we,ve had in Scotland, and we are definatley looking forward to coming back to you later this year. Carine and I would recomend Gwen and her family at Brae cottage to anyone, Outstanding place, breakfast ,service & accomodation 1st class. We actually feel like part of the family now!
