If you are looking for the quintessential English Country Inn, the Colesbourne is it. The staff, the food, the facilities and even the "Locals" were all 5 Star. We arrived on Christmas Eve and stayed three nights. By the end of the first night we felt like family. Our room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. I am often in...

Only two nights and purely on spec but really great. Good room, really warm on a cold night and the restaurant was excellent. And pretty much everything was gluten free. A real bonus. If ever we are in the Cirencester / Cheltenham area again we shall certainly stay at the Colesbourne Inn.

Colesbourne Inn allows for classic countryside enjoyment: walking around on the many footpaths in the area and then returning to warm up with a hearty (huge!) hot meal in the pub. Yet at the same time it is easy to take the bus to nearby towns for shopping and museum visits.

My partner and I stayed here over the New Years period. The Inn itself is cozy and all the staff extremely helpful. We ended up eating here quite a few times during our stay and each time the food was excellent (especially breakfast!). Our room was spacious and clean. Definitely well worth a visit, even just for the food.

On arrival for our two night December break we were greeted by a picture perfect Cotswold stone Inn adorned with twinkling Christmas decorations and roaring log fires. Our room was in an attached annex ( which avoids noise from the bar) and was nicely decorated in a contemporary style with quality furniture and very large comfortable double bed. The hospitality...

We've eaten here a number of times over the years and the meals are consistently good. Last night was no exception. I had the pork medallions in peppercorn sauce and my husband had the beef. For starters we had the risotto balls and Camembert and shared a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. All the food was of a very high...

Very good accommodation, pleasant staff, good breakfast, but the evening meal was no more than average. Well positioned for Cirencester and Gloucester and other interesting features. We would go back but may eat out.

This is our second stay at the Colesbourne as part of a weekend at the races. Location, service and atmosphere all great. Staff all very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Some great local walks to burn off the calories too.
