We were a large party that I am sure were not the easiest guests to accommodate but the team were kind and helpful. The actual hotel itself was my disappointment. It doesn't look like a place you want to spend much time in. It is dated, cramped and lacking in attention to cleaning detail. If you are simply looking for...

The owner is rude and unpleasant when i phoned up to say i was arriving late (i was amazed when the receptionist informed me she is actually the owner). I had booked for a 2nd night but her attitude made me cancel that before i had even seen the hotel. On the night i did stay I found the following:...

The signage states The Grantham hotel which it clearly is NOT it's a poor hostel for homeless or tradesmen. Stayed one night and that was enough !!!! It smelt of excretion as soon as U walked in and sweat. The lady had no interest as I arrived in the evening and she hurried me along so she could leave with...

It's cheap and located well for Trent Bridge, football grounds and West Bridgeford. A nice welcome and briefing by the manager. The room was very basic but clean. The bed was so knackered I needed a Physio the next day. Breakfast... well, I didn't get any as nobody was there. You get what you pay for. I'm not complaining but...

Stayed here for 2 nights with 3 friends when our friend got married at Trent Bridge. On the outside I thought my mates had done me over, it doesn't look the best. Inside, yes, it is dated and had an unusual feel, but the lady that greeted us was pleasant as anyone I've ever met. The room was basic, but...

I can understand that it's a Saturday night and people are going out but there doesn't seem to be any person on duty as the from 1am to 5am. This place was like a jungle and a game of musical rooms. If visiting the town I would not recommend this hotel for what you pay for a room I'm sure...

The room was on the main road and there was traffic noise all night as there was no double glazing. The room was small and the bed was extremely uncomfortable, the shower was not good and breakfast was cold with cereal and sliced bread and that was served very slowly. We were told that the Chef was on holiday, hence...

Good things about this place: clean linen, parking, it rained so we stayed dry. Shabby place. Our ensuite shower would have struggled to wash out a flying insect and the water mostly landed on the floor; couldn't use it. Decided to bathe at sink but no plug and water lukewarm. As we were visiting for a sporting event this was...
