Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was an amazing holiday stay and the staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was modern but the water would flow out of the shower as it was not fully enclosed. The room was quite small but comfortable and we were provided with a window though the view was not great. In the bathroom there was a slight crack in the ceiling. The pool was wonderful and was working well but it was shallow all the way through. The pool was a bit too dark for me to see clearly with my goggles on. Overall, it was a lovely hotel. Would recommend.

My son was in hospital so an unexpected stay at the beeches. We checked in late and Mark couldn’t have been more helpful. We extended daily all the staff were professional and friendly. Rooms comfortable and the food great especially the Sunday road.

I stayed here this weekend . First weekend in February. We booked 3 rooms. We were here as a family attending our uncle and aunty's party who live in Nottingham. We were checked in within minutes by a lovely lady on the reception. The hotel was beautiful. Unfortunately we did not get time to use the gym or spa as we were spending time with our family. The rooms were all so clean, huge comfy beds and pillows. They are all nicely heated, however if you are to warm our room had a big stand up fan. Also we all had an iron and ironing board, a kettle with tea and coffee and a coffee maker with pods. There is a chair and dressing table with a mirror. A nice bathroom with walk in shower. It was well looked after by housekeeping. The breakfast was amazing. There's disabled access and a lift, my mum is almost blind and the staff were so happy to help her and to keep a check on her in her room which is so so lovely of them. The bar area is also nice and the bar man who served us was so polite and helpful. It is close to the centre with good transport links. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend to anyone who will be booking stays in Nottingham. Thank you so much to all staff especially the lady on reception for looking after my mum.

I wanted ro express my thanks to the Team at the Beeches for delivering a fabulous send off following my Dad's funeral yesterday. The room was great, food amazing & the service from the Ladies behind the bar was friendly & attentive. We couldn't have wished for a better experience. Everyone who attended said how good the day was. Thank you so much. Xx

Stayed at this hotel for a stay over in Notts and attended a Christmas Party. I used the spa facilities and the room was nice and comfy . Overlooking the carpark which I could keep an eye on. The bus stop was opposite the road. Perfect for getting about to the city centre.

The Hotel itself was average. The Receptionist was very unfriendly & wanted me to pay in full on arrival. As a single person I paid a lot for a very small poky room, which was overheated & you couldn't turn the heat down. I won't be staying there again!

A convenient place to stay for us near our son. Breakfast was great and served promptly, Only issue was constant hum of boiler or a/c next to our suite (room 5), or could have been a generator for the swimming pool. Management came out to try and sort out, to their credit, but the noise meant both our sleeps were disturbed all night. A bit ironic, as we had paid more for a suite as a treat. Suggest you do not let this room out unless fully booked, or advise guests of this issue in advance.

What springs to mind? Clean and comfortable. My wife and I had never visited Nottingham, so the hotel was a stab in the dark. Not disappointed, plenty of parking happy and informative reception staff. The room was large and had all the expected elements, a huge bed and a comfy mattress. Everything was clean throughout, and the shower was great and easy to use. The bar was great with a nice selection of gins, which pleased the other half, and the Tetley Smooth was good. Would we come back? Yes, see you soon

Very pleasurable stay. It had easy parking next to the hotel, the room was small but clean & comfortable with a large TV and kettle. I used the pool, hot tub, sauna and gym. The pool was fairly small so not great for lane swimming, and the sauna wasn’t hot when I went in but it was early. The gym was fantastic. Enjoyed breakfast - it was a standard buffet cooked breakfast with filter coffee and juice. Would stay again.
