Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wow what a little gem, just returned & this place is pure luxury.. the barn is well equipped with everything you need.. it has added luxury’s like underfloor heating, jacuzzi bath, utility room & lots more. It’s not very often we’re not ready for home after a few days but this place has a real homely feel & we could of stayed longer then the 8 nights we had there.. The grounds & facility’s are amazing. The indoor pool is brilliant & having it to yourself is great.. Will definitely recommend & return 🫶🏽

We have been coming to Forda for 10 years often three times a year. Everywhere is so clean and well looked after. The Stables are ideal for me as I am disabled and the family love it . Our grandchildren enjoy the pool, games room and tennis courts and of course all the fantastic space and they are so safe there. Since Rob and Abi took over they have worked very hard modernising everywhere in all the properties but without changing the feel of Forda. The new kitchen in the Stables is fab and the walk in shower suits me with my disabilities. We shall not be holidaying anywhere else Thank you Rob and Abi Nicki and Robin Jones and family

This was our second stay at Forda this year. After visiting at Easter with family we returned with our entire family. We were in three of the A Frame lodges. It was perfect for the different age ranges in grand children with something for them all. Safe playing area means they can go off enjoying themselves with supervision nearby, the pool was also a great place for them and the adults to let off steam. We found lots in the surrounding area to do away from the site but within easy driving distance. Even the weather was kind to us. Thanks again to Rob and Abbie for our lovely stay in your clean self contained lodges, we will be back.

What a beautiful place, the A frame lodge we stayed in was immaculate. The 4 lakes were perfect fishing with us catching lots of perch, tench and a few lovely carps too. The pool and sauna were excellent and Rob and Abi running a rota system with it was such a good idea. I had a full spa experience too, Thank you Mary for the best massage. If you're looking for a relaxed chilled holiday then this is it can't recommend it enough and will definitely be back 😊

We have just returned from a weeks stay at The Barn at Forda. Lovely cottage with all amenities you would need. The weather wasn't brilliant but the area provided plenty to do during the day and the evenings were easily filled for our 3 grandchildren with the games room and swimming pool. The bonus with the pool is being able to book it for an hour of exclusive use. If I could have one niggle, the toilet brushes need changing and maybe the toilet seat in the downstairs loo. Just a little attention to small details. Doesn't stop us from giving an excellent 5 stars though.

We had such a good break at Forda. The accommodation was cost and clean and the facilities were fantastic. As the weather was poor, we particularly had fun in the pool (the booking system is great ensuring we had the pool to ourselves) and had fun in the games room. The beds are comfy and we had everything we needed for a great stay. It really is a gem of a place in a lovely area. We will return. Highly recommended. Thanks Abi and Rob from the Morrissey family.
