I was looking for a solo break away in Cornwall and I couldn’t have picked anywhere better! I received a text saying I could check in early which was fab and when I arrived I was greeted by Paul who showed me round to my roundhouse. Shortly after I arrived I realised I couldn’t get my heating to work and both Paul and Sue came straight round to have a look, turns out the panel was broken so I went out for dinner and within an hour Sue text me saying it was fixed and I returned back to a lovely and cosy roundhouse! I had everything I needed in the roundhouse, the bed was comfy and the shower was powerful. The accommodation was really clean and the hot tub was absolutely amazing. Nothing felt too much trouble and Sue and Paul were so friendly and gave me lots of tips of places to see and where to eat and made sure I got to meet the goats and pig! The location was great, such a short drive into Bude and the journey down from Surrey was really easy! I’ll definitely be returning! Thank you for such a lovely stay.

It's hard to put into words how much of a magical weekend we all had here, we all travelled four hours to get here and by god it was worth it, each room was perfectly clean and tidy the beds were so comfortable, we went in the dead of winter and the cabin was warm enough we needed to open the door to cook it down, we spent alot of our time in the hot tub, it was clean and so inviting, the surroundings were like a fairytale full of lights lighting up the paths and over the hot tub, the cute animals who love a smooth. We all agreed we felt at utter peace being here and will be making a yearly trip back. Thank you all so much for being so friendly and welcoming we look forward to seeing you all again in 2024 ❤️

We had a lovely welcome and the cottage was lovely and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and we had a lovely chilled out stay. There are lots of places to visit we didn’t do too much walking as it rained most of the week but this didn’t spoil our chilled out week. Completely dog friendly too. If we needed anything during our stay there was always someone on hand to help. Lovely to meet the goats and pig too who had wonderful winter quarters.

Lovely private yurt, with hot tub, all mod cons!!! Great place to escape the madness of this world and chill in the hot tub. Awsome. Good location to explore both north Cornwall and north Devon. This place would be fabulous in the summer with great opportunities to eat outside, BBQ, firepit etc.

Just returned home from a lovely and relaxing weekend here to celebrate our anniversary. The roundhouses are beautiful, cosy, clean and nicely decorated and we thoroughly enjoyed having a hot tub to relax in when we wanted to. Although the roundhouses are fairly close together and all 4 seemed to be occupied over the weekend, we weren't disturbed by any of the other guests, even when they were using their hot tubs. East Thorne itself was really cute and we enjoyed being right next to the animals, it was lovely to watch them being fed in the mornings with a coffee and the two hosts we met were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. If we had to leave any constructive feedback it would be that 2 towels were left for each guest as we only had one each and I think most people would agree that they wouldn't want to use the same towel for hot tubbing and shower. That being said, the hosts were more than happy to help when we asked for more towels - and by having to ask we realised there was laundry facilities on site which is helpful to know. Secondly, although washing up liquid and a sponge was provided for washing up, there didn't seem to be any cleaning wipes/spray to clean the sides down after using, which would of been handy. The WiFi wasn't very good where we were which might be a problem for some, although it wasn't a problem for us. These points most definitely didn't cause any major disruption and wouldn't be a cause for less than 5* Thanks for a lovely stay, we would definitely return to East Thorne again.

It was an amazing anniversary trip and the cabin we stayed at was absolutely lovely. It was intimate and exactly what we found of hoped for. Thank-you. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and we would if never expected washing and drying facilities around the corner from our hut which was a lovely little touch and it was extremely helpful.

We had an amazing stay. There is everything you need in the roundhouse. Considering it was September it was lovely and warm inside. The camp was nice. My son would have love to see/feed the animals if he had of been with us. We enjoyed seeing the farmer herding the sheep in the morning. The only thing is we wish there had of been a cover somehow over the sky light. As once it was light and we were woken up, we couldn't get back to sleep, so only had 5 hours sleep on some nights. Also it was raining the last night we were there and dirty water was dripping off the trees into the hot tub, so a cover would have been perfect to have over the hot tub for this reason and to stop the rain coming down on you. We would love to come back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful lodge, clean and smelt lovely on arrival.the owner who let us in was very helpful. Hot tub nice but small could do with it being more enclosed as people can see you in it which we didn’t like, even though there’s a screen there. The place is very quiet.
