We stayed here while visiting family in the area. Michael and Linda were so welcoming and accommodating, especially considering we were with a 90 year old!! Rooms were great with a lot of character added bonus having outdoor space to enjoy. The views were spectacular and the location beautiful. Would recommend highly for a quiet, relaxing break!
Very friendly owners who make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Rooms are lovely and clean. Very beautiful environment. Breakfast was spot on as well. Ask mike about his bees. Very interesting subject and the honey is delightful with the breakfast. If you are affected by noise when sleeping I would advise brining ear plugs as the animals are early starters! Love the two dogs as well. Thanks again
What a find! Tucked away in Val Ceno surrounded by glorious scenery its a haven of peace - we felt that we were part of the family Michael picked us up from the airport and we were transported to this delightful B and B with traditional rooms and modern amenities - the grounds inhabited by chickens, ducks, cats and dogs - all friendly - not forgetting the bees - also friendly! Linda welcomed us warmly showing us all the facilities including a well stocked fridge - breakfast was a treat - freshly baked breads cheeses and Italian meats and their own honey Both Michael and Linda went out of their way to help us make the most of our stay We also found an excellent taxi driver Stephanie A wonderful stay and we whole heartedly recommend Casa di Ghiro
We were so glad that we found this marvellous place .Everything we have read about it is correct. Lovely comfortable room, modern bathroom with lots of extras in case guests have forgotten any toiletry items. Wonderful breakfasts with a choice of Mike's honey, Linda's jams, fresh home made bread, local cheeses, ham etc. We were made to feel totally at home. We could take breakfast on the patio or in the dining room. Outside the patio area is fenced off and gives a lovely shady area, and beyond this there are chickens, ducks (fresh eggs) three dogs, 2 cats, Mike's hives and a gazebo and seating area. The B&B has some lovely walks where they are situated and we saw several deer. Mike took us to see the Parmigiano Reggiano cheese being made and this was a really treat. We stayed here for a week, and we wish we had found it earlier. We loved staying in Bardi and if we return we would not want to stay anywhere else. This couple know the A-Z of running a great B&B.…
We stayed here for 1 night for our little visit to Bardi. It was very pleasant and the owners are great. They told us to make ourselves feel at home and made sure we knew where everything was before we went to our room. Very homely place with cute garden/patio area. Breakfast was great too.
