Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Have been a few times with friends. All the apartments finished to the highest standards. You relax as soon as you arrive. You have everything you need. They leave you fruit juice, yogurts, bacon, sausages, eggs bread everything you need for a great breakfast. You will even find a few packets off crisps. You go once and you get hooked. Already booked for another wee night 😊😊

Myself and my girlfriend spent 3 nights in the beautiful 'Dolly'. It was probably the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in- beautiful and cosy with an incredibly comfy couch. The kitchen had all we needed and Ivan had very kindly left ingredients for a fry, milk, juice, yogurt, fruit and cereal! The bedroom and bathroom were clean and spacious- there was even a TV in the bedroom also. Moira village is very close by and has fantastic restaurants and fine food shops! We will definitely be back and encourage everyone to stay here!

Stayed for two nights in Clenaghan's apartments in cottage called Madge.Great little escape! Very welcoming hosts and Buttons the dog! Great little breakfast pack and snacks left in fridge for you to cook own breakfast and enjoy during your stay. Ours included sausages, bacon, bread, butter, jam, milk, cereals, and crisps. Cottage has upstair and down stairs toilet
Great shower and roll top bath upstairs. Two bedroom s albeit that second is on the landing between main bedroom and bathroom. Lovely cosy cottage. Well presented. Fill kitchen with hob, oven, kettle, microwave and tea and coffee supplies. So close to Moira train station and the village itself so ideal location to your local area. Free WiFi. We will be back.

At the time of booking Clenaghans it was asked on the booking form what time would you like to check in I stated 12 noon then to be told you can’t check in until 2-4pm also it asked if you were staying for an occasion I stated it was our tenth wedding anniversary and thought on arrival there would have been a nice complimentary gesture in our room but nothing. I then decided to take a walk and texted the number for Ivan to confirm dinner reservations and got no reply.
Dinner was nice but very expensive and waited 30 minutes on my cocktail before dinner.
We left the restaurant to head back to our apartment with no light outside the restaurant which was so dark I nearly fell.
Overall was a nice stay and the cottages cosy and character to them. Think it’s abit over rated.
Don’t think I would return.

We have stayed here twice now as we were dining next door in the amazing Clenaghans restaurant (separately run, but top notch food)
Warm, welcoming, spotlessly clean, and well presented. Good spot for an overnight like we did or as a base to explore Northern Ireland from. It’s really convenient to the M1 for east west and the main road to the north coast is nearby too. It’s a really easy to find place in the countryside.

Had the best weekend here, we wanted somewhere nice cosy and private. The apartment was beautiful had everything you need and felt so homely. Would really like to get back in the summer to experience the lovely court yard and surroundings in the sun. Fridge was full with everything u need for breakfast and some nice snacks.
