We stopped over for one knight before heading south. The chateau was delightful, it felt just like arriving at your grandparents' old pad in the country. We stayed in the room with the large bed and garden view and put our two kids on the sofa bed. The room was enormous, the bathroom had a jacuzzi (no stand up shower).... More

A second visit for us, following one 4yrs ago at this delightful chateau. As ever they were incredibly welcoming and the breakfast was superb. I asked to stay in the same room as before, which was fantastic. The host recommended a great restaurant in town that didn't look great from the outside, but served up amazing food, especially a great... More

Nice large house in beautiful grounds. Wonderful and professional welcome. B&B only, no restaurant. Good base for exploring North of France or Channel coast. On the way to the tunnel and not far from Belgium.

Very nice and large bedroom, recently refurbished, with multi channel TNT/DB TV (no TV cable). Room was immaculate, as well as bathroom. Several electrical plugs available for charging our usual multiple electronic appliances. Water boiler in the room, with coffee and tea. Bed is good but firm. OK for me, but people who appreciate soft beds may be disappointed. Heating... More

Stayed one night on way back to UK so wasnt expecting too much. Outside looks rather shabby but well hidden from the adjacent town and huge sugar beet factory. Inside very clean and well appointed facilties work well and hosts friendly and provide a good french breakfast. Mattress lumpy and not very comfortable was the only negative comment I would... Booked for one night on our way into France and it was a very good experience. The room was large and sheets on the bed which was what was wanted as it was very warm at night. The breakfast was the usual continental but with home made jams and preserves and incredibly fresh orange juice, and good coffee which makes... More

A great stop over place on the way back to Calais, the chateau is set in beautiful grounds overlooking a lake, along a long tree lined driveway. Rather an incongruous setting, amidst a newish housing estate, but a haven of peace and tranquility. Lovely owner, huge room and bathroom, outstanding value for money at only 95euros a night. Tasty breakfast... More

This is a lovely b and b run by a charming host. We had a walk in the grounds by the lake before we had our picnic supper as we arrived too late for dinner anywhere. Clean rooms with modern bathrooms and a delicious breakfast served in the well appointed dining room. The house has been in the same family... More
