Me and my partner stayed here for two nights, and I can honestly say we adored it. We've even booked to go back in November! Totally cosy in a lovely location for exploring the scenic surroundings. We visited the little country pub "the black bull" for food one night which I would also highly recommend. If you're looking to escape...

This is a truly beautiful place. The Owners are warm and welcoming. This is a Green Camping Barn, but it's easy to get the hang of recycling. A little secure secluded garden which was really well kept and pretty with all the daffodils in bloom.There are two pubs at either end of the village and a well stocked shop. Everything...

We received a warm welcome and had a very comfortable stay here for a week in the eco friendly camping barn which is very well equipped has excellent facilities, is very well located. Would recommend for a short break or a longer stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in frosterley this weekend, i was worried that the barn may be a little cold in the the evenings up the wood burning stove did its job admirably. There are good kitchen and shower facilities. The owners where really helpful and I felt very looked after. . Frosterley it's self is a fun little village...

Family friendly - there's a playground within yards - and you can walk from the door along the Wear river valley, or catch the local steam or diesel train when it runs in the summer. My partner and I stayed here for a weekend at the end of March. I didn't really know what to expect to be honest because I'd never stayed in a camping barn before. I couldn't believe how lovely the place was. The accommodation was immaculately maintained. In fact I thought we were actually the first people to have stayed there...
