The hotel rooms are completely unacceptable, holes in walls, paint bubbling and peeling off, dead bugs everywhere, i don't believe a 'deep clean' has been done in at least 2 years. Dust and dirt on absolutely everything. I don't really care how cheap a motel or hotel is, there are basic standards.... Please note i am being extremely reasonable here,... More

We decided to go to the Bateau Beach Hotel for lunch on 3.10.12. Drove into the car park and decided this dump is not for us. Pot holes cars could fall into. Have never seen a car park anywhere In the world as bad as this one. Said to wife, we are here, let's give it a go. Walked into... More

We took our 2 grandchildren for lunch on Monday 4 July and met my sister there. The food was very good and there is a great play area near the outdoor eating area. The young lady in the dining area was very pleasant and efficient. Would go back again.

An evening with friends for a farewell. I've no complaints with the service but our meals were very ordinary. I had chicken schnitzel and it was over cooked and very dry. I had to remind server that I had ordered gravy and the mashed potato was dry and lumpy. Probably the worst pub meal I've ever had. My wife had... More

We use to come here all the time as the food was excellent (about 5 years ago). Came today for Australia Day lunch with friends. The standard of the food has dropped immensely. I ordered the bacon, cheese & ranch dressing fries as a starter & the garlic bread & hubby ordered the schnitzel. After 4 mouthfuls of the fries... More

We originally came here so that the kids could make use of the water park event that had been advertised and marketed with "free entry". Well it was free entry as it was at the pub out the back but they wanted $25 per child and if 3yrs old then I had to pay to accompany my son. So $75... More

Not a good dining experience! Ordered the Scotch Fillet steak and it could just be THE toughest piece of meet I have eaten in modern times - even cut with a steak knife it was a job to cut .... which brings me to the Cutlery ... absolutely FILTHY! The owners need to review the operation of the bistro urgently!... More

Friends suggested we go for lunch and it didn't disappoint. Newly renovated kitchen makes enjoyable Pub style food. The 3 cutlets ($20) with tasty salad and chips was best my wife and I have ever experienced and a great price. Our friend's chicken parma schnitzel ($17) was equally tasty and a large portion size. One last rap to the female... More
