We arrived just after the kitchen had closed unexpectedly for maintenance, group of 4 included an 8 year-old,the staff could not have been more obliging in providing us with something to eat as best they could, also complimentary drinks - much appreciated and a good welcome to the hotel and the Netherlands. Room was well sized and clean. Bed a bit too soft for me but that is personal preference. Location good for Zandvoort Circuit, 5 miles. Good breakfast, freshly made omelettes were spot on. Nice restaurant with large outdoor seating area. No downsides.

Excellent steaks in a spicy oily sauce with white bread. Loved it. Service was ok, Ambience and quality of furniture also ok, nothing that makes you go Wow. Good for a casual meal. Not much more to say.

Great steak in all variants they offer. Friendly staff and fafabulous location for moving around the north of Holland. Rooms are small but clean. Be prepared to climb very steep stairs to reach your room.

Very nice hotel. The rooms where quite small but nicely decorated and clean. The Staff was friendly. They have a private parking lot for guests but it was already completely occupied when we arrived. Staff were all very friendly, even with a very busy restaurant they got us a free table at a set hour, good meals. It was perfectly situated for us visiting The Amsterdam Waterleidingduinen and the Nationaal Park Zuid Kennemerland.

Booking a room using the hotel's own website proved difficult. We choose the standard room which we found very nicely renovated but also very small. The room is on the second floor, as there is no elevator in the hotel one has to tackle the steep Dutch staircase..... I was happy to find a hygienic wooden floor in the room,...

The restaurant(s) are known for their steaks! Best in town. Lovely steak with gravy. Nice side dishes. Especially the typically Dutch Apple sauce, delish! Parking can be difficult but if available they have a lot in front of the restaurant. Eating inside or outside is both nicely decorated. The staff is somewhat busy but most of them are friendly.
