Only two other people in the restaurant so had the waiters full attention except when he was attending to a large function that was going on in another part of the hotel. The Pate starter and roast beef were very good and certainly good value with a Groupon. Its is hard to find a restaurant where the chef actually cooks...

Tiny double bed, room lacking sound proofing. Clean and tidy but housekeeping failed to replace soap and milk. Restaurant quiet but friendly, helpful staff. The chef is a real star as he made the uninspired menus sparkle with the excellence of cooking, and understanding of making tastes sing. Thank you chef, and waiter! Really helpful receptionist too.

We visited this hotel last week for a business meeting. The location of the hotel was perfect as most of our clients came from Uxbridge and Slough. I travelled from London Heathrow and the drive took just 15 minutes. The staff prepared the meeting room just as we requested and delivered great service throughout our stay. Thank you Manor hotel...

Have stayed here on a couple of overnight work trips. Much more character than a hotel chain but rooms in need of updating. Linen very clean. Good choice of breakfast but dining room rather cramped and strangely laid out. Staff very pleasant. Free overnight parking in nearby railway car park

It was a last minute booking which didn’t provide the opportunity to review the hotel on TA which I would normally do if given the time. It was a very cold evening and the hotel only has a small number of car parking spaces which were unfortunately all full. The train station is close by so I took my chance...

Cold noisy rooms, you hear the planes trains and automobiles from the outside. Creaky floors paper thin walls and doors, no reliable wifi, no mobile signal. Buckets catching dripping water all over the hotel! Not dirty but very dated. Duck tape of the door lock where it looked like someone had previously kicked the door in. Cheap and friendly staff...

We stayed here for New Years Eve for 1 night as a last minute booking. We were put in a room over the road in the annexe. This has to be the worst place we have ever stayed in the UK. To say this place is filthy is an understatement. Dust and hairs eveywhere. Threadbare, pulls and stained carpet all...

We will never stay at this hotel again due to the following:- There was no hot water in our bathroom nor that of my daughters. My husband went down in the morning to let the staff know and the chap on reception said he would restart the boiler. Our room was fixed and my husband and I could have a...

I was a party of 8 which booked a table on the 10th December to celebrate Christmas. The service was not too bad and the Italian lady that was organising the staff was working very hard to get everything done professionally. The bar outside the main room was small and there was only one person serving which made for unwanted...
