Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in this hotel from Nice to Marseille on our recent road trip. It's a small basic hotel with a spa in the middle of nowhere. We stayed on the ground floor of the main building, which is a short distance away from the reception, spa, and restaurant, hence the wifi was very weak. Other than that no complaints. The room size was decent, with basic amenities, and the bathroom was clean. The receptionist was very helpful. We tried the dinner in the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. rice was okay.

In our vancamping holidays in France, my partner got an urgent job to do. We decide to book a hotel for one night to have a desk and a good internet conection for some hours. We booked in Booking.com this hotel because had WIFI in the description. The surprised was when the receptionist told us in the check-in, the WIFIi has not enough power and we should use our phones. Which was a mission imposible because our room was in the ground and no conection at all. We told them our special situation, and if we could find a solution to be able to work. The receptionist was not able to lend us a phone, usb for internet or change us of the room. We paid a hotel room for nothing, 137,98 euros. Next day in the check out, there was other receptionist and i suggested that they should delete in the website Booking.com that they have wifi in the hotel. And she answered to me: "People don´t come here to work, they come for holidays." O_O

Quick stop over stay during a road trip. We stayed in a double room in the main building which looked to be recently refurbished. Room was lovely and clean but simple and basic. Staff friendly and helpful. Reception is closed at night and finding your way to the back of the building without lights was tricky. Overall a comfortable stay but overpriced.

We had a good time, but it felt very overpriced. Room was ok, but one of the double beds was a squeaking camping bed. Breakfast was very simple, I would expect more for that price. Old chairs in the restaurant reminding of a conference center. The outside pool was ok. I would not pay to enter the inside pool (what they call spa).

Absolutely stunning expirience at this place. Everything from the rooms to food in the restaurant to the Spa was amazing. Alina and Cedric went out of their way to help us around the place, very kind and charming people. They really made us feel like at home. I really can't thank them enough for that. Staff in the restaurant and Spa were also really nice and friendly. Although this is France, everyone spoke English, which I really appreciated since French was really difficult for me to learn. You must try theFois Gras in the restaurant, it's amazing Rooms are spacious and comfy, with some English chanels if you can't sleep at night. The view from the room was also stunning. Don't forget to visit their Spa (fish exfoliation will take away some tiredness after those long walks along the canyon which is the second biggest in the world) Christel was one of the kindest people you will ever meet, she will always make sure that your needs are met before anything else, amazing person. Definitely coming back here again for a great experience, excellent food and beautiful views of the Les Sal Sur Verdon.

We visited this hotel as a couple. Simple, but clean rooms. No air conditioning, no wi-fi however before we booked hotel, we checked that it is provided on site. They simply said: too many people and it's not working. Delicious food in restaurant. Deserts are home made and VERY tasty.

The rooms are very clean, we stayed in the small building, on the side with the view on the lake, the other side has the view on the lovely swimming pool (surrounded by flowers) which is great if you are with children. Each floor of the building we stayed in has a different color theme and are nicely decorated. The checking out was at 12pm which gives enough time to rest after the drive through the Gorges Verdon or to go to the spa adjacent to the main lodge. The hotel is close to Moustier st Marie and a 10min walk to the Lac de St Croix (swimming possible). This hotel really exceeded our expectations for a 2 star hotel and we really recommend this hotel if your ever in the Lac de St Croix area.

We stayed here for a night in September and enjoyed a room with a balcony with beautiful views of the mountains. The decor of the room was awful but it was clean and the shower was good. I was slightly disappointed that you had to pay to go into the spa but we didn't really have time to be honest. If you aren't planning on staying at the hotel other than for sleeping, it's absolutely fine.

This is a very basic hotel that goes well with the casual and relaxed surroundings. We found the staff to be more than helpful, rooms spacious and comfortable with lovely views. One may say that the rooms look a bit old but I think they add to the character of the place and modernising may take that away. Perfect location to explore the surroundings as its just a few minutes drive away from the lake and the gorge. Moustiers too is only 15 to 20 minutes away by car. We absolutely liked the experience of being in this place and hope that we will return. Breakfast was the only disappointment, but who knows, might have been a bad day as we were only there for one night.
