Although we were advised in advance that the island did have a daily deluge of day visitors, and that they all go home by 4 p.m. I was pleasantly surprised, as there weren't the masses that I'd expected, and they did leave in the afternoon. The room was lovely and had a great decked area where you could sit out...

It's an amazing place! Peaceful, quiet! Excellent staff, organized such a great bday celebration! Resort has kind of "a private beach" with umbrellas and chairs. Houses are away one from each other, so you have a great view from your accommodation. Food at the resort is just the best - the best one I've tried in Malaysia! And very inexpensive!...

I had a short break with my family somewhere in mid of May recently. I have to say that the resort was stunning. We booked double story hill side chalet for 2 nights. The view, the room, the compound was perfectly in place. Room was spacious and clean. Great living area, perfectly working TV, big bath tub, shower area, and...

I have stayed 2 nights during holiday in May 2017. I could not have enough information about Manukan island resorts, but consequently it was worth of try. It had a beautiful private beach only open to the resort residents. It has only 20 rooms in total, it was great to spend time away from a bunch of people enjoying day...

We stayed for one night in a beachside villa. Staff encountered were all very friendly and professional. Upon check in we were shown to our room, given a welcome tea and a friendly introduction to the room and facilities on the island. The room itself was so charming - spacious, well laid out, clean and very comfortable all round with...

My husband and I visited Manukan Island resort on our Anniversary trip to Sabah. Ben, the manager and the team were so welcoming and ensured we were given a cold drink and towel even although we arrived early. We were able to relax on the beach till our villa was ready. It was stunning with an amazing view to the...

We stayed on Manukan Island for 3 days/2 nights during a recent trip to Borneo and would recommend this for anyone wanting a clean, comfortable, but simple style of accommodation in a beautiful setting. Our room (4a) was recently renovated and very modern and clean, with direct access to the beach. The bed was very comfortable and our bathroom clean...

We booked for one night as a last minute treat during our stay in Borneo. We were overwhelmed by what we got. We originally booked the cheapest double room, but when we arrived and was shown to our room, even though we were before the check in time, we were flabbergasted that we were given a beach villa over looking...

Spent 3 days, 2 nights here. Started with a lovely greeting by very friendly staff. Great room with water views. Large room, good bathroom and nice verandah to sit on and watch the world go by. Try the walk up to sunset point - was cloudy when I went, but still nice. Food in restaurant is nice, dearer than mainland...
