We’re a couple staying for 2 nights. The room is located about 10 mins walk from pier/bars and restaurants. It’s up a steep hill and it is dark at night but it was quiet. The room is basic but it’s clean and comfortable with air con. We didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment there. There is a sushi restaurant next to the bungalows if u want to buy drinks. It’s not a luxury 5* resort but thats reflected in the price, probably the best stay on Koh Toch beach. Email well ahead with a time for someone to help you collect your bags. We would recommend for a short stay.

The apartment was modern and clean with good air-con but unfortunately our room was not serviced during our three nights stay. The bathroom looked a little unfinished and there was no wifi. The bungalows are not finished so it seemed a little unorganised, you have breakfast at Monkey Island restaurant and have to pay for your stay in cash. When it is all finished I'm sure it will be great as it is in a great location and has lovely views.

15 min walking distance from port where u arrive to island,
this part of the island u will see sunrise but not sunset!
Electric aircon make the room temp ideal, acceptable running water in shower,
Since its glass box! Then no Mosquito around, balcony to sit and 5 min or less walking distance to see,
Someone help us bring our luggage to to port at the time we wanted with small tip.

We visited for 5 nights, very disappointed apart from the reception staff who were helpful. When we arrived there were no towels in the bungalow, so we had to ask for them. The outside hose to clean your feet was not working. The lock on the sliding door to the bungalow was faulty anyone could have broken into the bungalow by just pushing it. There was no cleaning service offered in the 5 nights we were there. The beds were very hard. Although there was 3 showers in the bathroom on the last afternoon/night we had brown water coming out from the taps so we could not shower then there was no water at all . We did ask about this and was told it would be on soon. Disappointed that this did not happen. The positive side to our trip was the nice Japanese restaurant opposite that serves the breakfast and Mr Kazu was very friendly and helpful.

Don’t waste your time or money. This is the place to go if you want to be pissed off about your vacation!!! The bungalows are flimsy and the hike up to the rooms are exhaustive. Cannot even see the beach from the room. Worst experience!

We chose to stay at Koh Rong Ocean View Bungalow as it advertised having more comfortable facilities than the surrounding options (also at a more expensive price). Unfortunately, this was not the case. When we arrived the staff met us at the pier and took our bags to the bungalows which was nice. Our first impression was good as the staff appeared nice and the room was clean. Unfortunately from this point we were met with many problems. The aircon leaked, running water was brown and dirty as there was no water left in the tanks, our shower stopped working due to being clogged up with dirt, the TV and hot water wasn't working, we had to ask numerous times for a safe. Not to mention that many of the services advertised on booking.com were not available such as a pool, bath robe, slippers.
We are not fussy travellers and generally do not complain, however after having no decent running water for 2 nights we talked to the manager who tried to fix the shower only to break it and then proceeded to say "sorry for the inconvenience, I'll fix it tomorrow". We were checking out the next day so this was not acceptable- we hadn't had a shower for 2 nights. He then came back after we went to see him and "fixed" the shower.
Overall, all of these issues would have been excusable, as the rest of the room was great, however the attitude and professionalism of the manager was so poor and made our stay that much more unenjoyable. After such a poor stay, we expected to be reimbursed some money, however this was not offered, instead the manager avoided us.
Luckily one of the staff members- Dara, was so lovely and found us on the beach the next day offering us water and to use the shower facilities before we left the island.
All in all, this place was a disappointing stay, and not what is it advertised to be. For $44 a night, you are much better off staying at any of the other bungalows to avoid a disappointing experience

This is pretty newly opened accommodation and they are doing a great job with it.

Our bungalow was modern and spotless with good aircon. You have your own private balcony with beautiful views over the sea.

The location is perfect in that it's only a few minutes walk to the beach and all bars and restaurants etc but you are up enough out of town to get a decent nights sleep without being able to hear loud music all night.

There is good wifi in all bungalows.

The staff made our trip. They are absolutely lovely. They also have a moto that is modified to carry luggage and are more than happy to do ferry pick up/drop offs if you let them know when you will be arriving/leaving.

With the place being so new there are just a couple of teething problems - our room wasn't cleaned for our two night stay, this isn't a problem for us and I know they would have given us fresh towels had we asked. Also, the electricity goes off when you leave the room with your key card, this is of course pretty normal for hotels but I'm pretty sure this includes the fridge so my beers were a bit warm when we returned from the beach.... again no big deal.

I'd say that this is one of the best choices on Koh Rong for the price and would recommend a stay here to everyone. Thank you for making our island trip so awesome!

It has so much potential but wow are they wasting it. The only good thing is the view and Wi-Fi I suppose. The gardens are also beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are run down inside, they just didn't end up being as nice as the photos. No towels available to use at the beach or even extra room towels, this is usually a really basic standard for any hotel, let alone one of the most expensive hotels on the island where you'd expect it.

We figured we'd spend the extra on higher end place to relax on the island but now I've experienced it, this place is so overpriced and not worth the splurge.

The room advertised things like a TV, daily housekeeping and for some reason a fireplace for example. None of these things actually exist in the room so really it's falsely advertised so who knows what to expect and what you're paying for.

It's well out of the way and the walk up the hill is annoying. If I go back to Koh Rong I'd stay down on the beach and avoid this place, and save myself probably 50% on accommodation.

We got our laundry done with them and it came back still wet 🤔

It's just a no from me which is a shame because from the outside it looks so cool, it really does have such huge potential to be amazing.

Stayed here for 3 nights and this is the higher class of accommodation on the island. It was essentially a glass box which made for a nice view but at the same time very hot inside. It is set up the hill from the majority of other places which is nice as it is more private. The aircon was very good thankfully as it got pretty hot. The chap drives your luggage once you arrive off the boat which is a nice touch as it is about a 200 meter walk along the beach and another 100 up the hill. The lock on our sliding door could probably have given way with a good push which was a slight concern but other than that have no real complaints. Given you can stay for literally £6-10 in some places the higher price was justified.

The room is ok but the hot water is unstable, the electric power is unstable either.

However staff is willing to help me,
The rooms are not beside of beach but close,

If you are just enjoy music, party all night and talk to strangers, it may not your ideal accommodation.

Anyway, I think it could be better than most hostels alone the pier area.
