We had a wonderful three day break with our young son and enjoyed exploring mid Wales. Sarah is a fantastic host and really looks after her guests. She provided a lovely breakfast & her homemade cakes were amazing. The room we stayed in was very large and had everything we needed. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind, thank you Sarah for a great holiday.

From our arrival on the Friday, our week got better and better. The glorious weather was a bonus but Acorn Court was just wonderful. Sarah is absolutely delightful, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was plentiful with fresh fruits, yogurts, cereals, hot cooked breakfast options. Exceptionally comfortable accommodation. We chose the self-catering option with Sarah's cooked breakfast. Everything in the accommodation you could need. Hugely spacious bedroom/bathroom with bright areas to look out all round. Cakes left in our room each day was a tasty treat. Delightful dogs visited, then hens popping by, the rams in the field to the back, ewes and lambs bleating to the front, nature all around, it was the perfect place for us to unwind. Sarah was very informative regarding places to visit and eat. It is the perfect spot to get away from it all. I would love to go back.

This is quite simply the best B&B we have ever stayed at. Sarah, the owner, went above and beyond what would have been expected of her. She gave us recommendations on places to eat and things to do in the local area. She provided us with cake every day! She was happy to cook breakfast options that weren't even on the menu! She even put hot water bottles in our beds unless specifically requested not to! We stayed in a ground floor suite that had a living room, a kitchen, a huge bedroom and an en suite with a bath and walk in shower. Our friends were in a first floor bedroom with en suite. Every evening the four of us would sit with our wine and cake, putting the world to rights. One evening we were visited by Tam, an elderly collie, who enjoyed quietly lying with the four of us. It was idyllic. I cannot recommend this location highly enough. The property, the location and especially Sarah, made it somewhere I would like to return to.

Sarah the hostess was so welcoming and friendly right from the time we arrived. Everything was excellent. House spotlessly clean. Room was huge with two proper armchairs, TV, fridge and lots of space in the room. Full bathroom with toilet, hand basin, bidet and bath and a separate shower. Wifi spot on. Breakfast was amazing. Fried Welsh breakfast was not greasy or oily as some can be. Apart from the main course, there were cereals, fruit, yogurt, unlimited tea and coffee, juices, croissants - everything!! And the homemade cake every evening in our rooms when we returned from our travels - wonderful!! The location is excellent. So quiet and peaceful. The sheep and the chickens and the farm dogs are so cute. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. I cannot recommend this B & B highly enough. My girlfriend has already recommended it to a couple of her friends and I will be doing the same. Thanks so much Sarah, if in the area again, we will not hesitate in staying with you again.

Myself and three friends stayed here last weekend for two nights for our annual Christmas break and we were blown away by the hospitality we received from Sarah. The break included afternoon tea on arrival, which was way beyond our expectations, then Sarah advised us on places to eat and even drove us to the place we chose for our meal that evening! We arrived back to our extremely comfortable rooms (both with lovely sitting area) only to find hot water bottles in our beds. We had a wonderful welsh breakfast the next morning followed by a highly recommended (by Sarah) trip to the Elan Valley which was just spectacular. We arrived back to coffee & delicious mince pies. We then made our way to Abbey Cwm Hir (52 rooms decorated for Christmas), which was also included in the price of our stay. Then back to Acorn Court for mulled wine and nibbles which were more like a full on buffet....need I say we didn't eat out that night. Instead we spent the evening in the lovely comfortable lounge with a big log fire burning. The whole experience was just amazing and I would highly recommend it....just can't speak highly enough. Sarah just went over and above what was expected. Musn't forget to mention her lovely mum who helped at breakfast.

Try to think of something which would make Acorn Court better in any way. Spacious accommodation, breakfast, views from your room, walks in the beautiful Radnorshire countryside straight from the door, or value for your pennies. I bet you can't! Moreover, I bet also that you will return again and again even for a short break to sample the hospitality Sarah offers at this excellent bed and breakfast. And when you do visit remember to look for all the little extras, from the welcome tea and cake, the pictures on the walls, the books you are invited to share, the little kitchen just for you to make a sandwich or heat up baby food etc. Enjoy it all, as we did.

Our first stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast. What a fantastic place. The breakfast is to die for, and the rooms are wonderful. When we got back from a long days work there was always a piece of cake waiting. Sarah and her Mum are the most fantastic hosts and couldn't do enough for us. We absolutely cannot recommend this place enough and will be back and not just for work.
