It sure brings back time whenever you're in Las Casas, those spanish filipino houses reminds us of our heritage, the tour guides seems to know a lot about our history and of those houses they're showing, they even throw some jokes every now and then to enlighten the mood, the food inside is not that cheap as well as the...

It would have been a perfect score for Las Casas had not my sister-in-law almost lost her bag due to one of the bell boys' carelessness. We stayed there on August 28, 2016 /1 night at Casa San Luis rooms 2006 and 2007 in celebration of my father's 70th birthday and it was an amazing family experience. The problem came...

We visited the place through DIY and we could have spared ourselves with grief if we just availed of their tour package (1,999 per pax) day tour. Hassle free in terms of commuting. It's a bit pricy but the convenience of just riding the shuttle from Makati- Bataan is way, way nicer rather than riding the bus and the van...

We spent 3 days there, Aug 27- 29. The place was really sprawling with tons of historical houses and things to see. It is very photogenic and if you love to take photos, this site will feed that need... We stayed at the 3rd floor of one of the renovated houses. The rooms are very spacious. There is a distinct...

Las Casa Filipinas De Acuzar is the first place that comes to mind when family and friends ask me for recommendations on which is the best place to go nowadays. I have been to this place almost twice a year for the last three years as I am excited to see its very fast development. This is the place where...

My friends and I went last August 20. Before leaving, we called the place to check if it was still okay to go and do the tour. The person that I talked to said that it was okay to go, all roads are passable, and it's open despite the gloomy weather. When we got there it started to rain harder.While...

Fix drainage system within the resort, it only rained a little and there were puddles on the streets of the area. + Nice tour among the historical houses with scandalous stories of...

While the property appeared open to guests, the hotel and rooms in the old houses did not look particularly inviting. Given the age of the houses, there is bound to be a musty smell to everything - if that doesn't faze you, then a stay in either an authentic or replica-house is likely to be a most interesting experience. All...

Beautiful Place, though there is an on going construction of new CASAs, and there are also on going repairs as well. Staffs are very accommodating and Friendly. Food are a bit expensive but dishes tasted good. View is ok, wasn't able to experience their water activities since the waves are strong, they don't allow guests to swim in the beach....

The place was beautiful and the guide was really great with telling facts and anecdotes about the houses. The place looked very wellmaintained and more and more houses are being added. But it was very overpriced. Food were sold at amusement park prices and the hotel had an extra fee to be able to view. I would want to visit...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A fine showcase of Filipino history and craftsmanship, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan takes you back to 18th-century Philippines in the twinkling of an eye. Architectural pieces of a bygone era, from different parts of the country, were reconstructed brick by brick, plank by plank. The noble-class mansions, wooden stilt houses, and a grand main building made of stone stand proudly in a village of cobblestone streets. To add up to the ambiance, a backdrop of majestic mountains, expansive rice fields, and a running river that flows to the sea, are found in the vast property. Truly a travel destination unlike any other, this resort in Bataan is a living museum of Philippine heritage. The traditional houses as hotel accommodations are the centerpiece of this Bataan beach resort about 125 km northwest of Manila. Even so, this destination resort does not lack in providing avenues for entertainment, relaxation, and recreation. It has the Napiya Spa, a swimming pool, private beach, gaming center, 3 restaurants, conference and banquet facilities, cultural shows, and heritage tours. Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar takes pride in giving you a glimpse of the past, reliving the age-old yet distinctive Filipino traditions, while providing the luxuries and comforts of contemporary times. ... more   less
