My partner and I just returned from a 5 night stay here with our 8 month old son. We were staying in the area for a wedding, and though Sarah and Chris were used to shorter staying guests, they were lovely and very welcoming. We opted to have an evening meal one night and it was just delicious. We did...

We have stayed many times at La Villonniere with Chris and Sarah they are so welcoming! The rooms are very comfortable with ensuite facilities and views over the lovely gardens. There is a small kitchen for guests to use and everything needed to prepare a light meal and make yourself a drink. Chris and Sarah also offer a three course...

After our long drive from Calais, we received a very warm and genuine welcome from Chris and Sarah, (assisted by Maggie their dog!) who immediately made us feel very much at home. This is a lovely French countryside location within a short distance of the small village of Parnac, affording very picturesque views from this Chambres d'Hotes hotel. The room...

We stayed here on our way to our camp site in the limousiin. The welcome was just what we needed after a long drive. It was easy to find and is set in a peaceful hamlet. The rooms are very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The meal we had was excellent and although our fellow guest spoke...

We stayed 2 nights at La Villonniere. On the first night we had a 3 course dinner which was delicious! We were looked after impeccably and I would recommend this establishment without a moment's hesitation! We will definitely go there again.

Found just by google maps ahead of trip to south of France. Proved to be an ideal stopover off the A20 - literally 5 mins but felt like middle of teh french countryside. Lovely spot. Sarah & Chris are a welcoming and witty Sussex couple who love their home. Greeted by Maggie the little pooch, we were soon showered and...

We stayed here in June for 2 nights. The setting is serene and peaceful, with farms all around that are lovely for strolls. Maggie, the resident dog, is super friendly and eager to accompany guests on a walk. Sarah and Chris were very hospitable, and available for questions. Our bedroom overlooked the back yard and was clean and spacious enough...

We stayed here mid august on our way down to the Dordogne. We (me, my partner and 8year old son) had had 6 hours in very hot (35 degrees!!) car from Calais, so the pool was a brilliant addition to our stay. The room was fresh and clean with plenty of room. Hosts very welcoming - especially Maggie the dog...
