the welcome at, both,the reception and the bar is great. a fabulous place to own a parkhome van. the views over the 'Flashes' is amazing. the other owners are friendly and the nearness to all the local amenities makes it an ideal place to live. the site has free wifi as well.

Stayed here in a hire caravan in May, lovely caravan with views of lake, only downside to park was lack of bins, you do have to walk to near reception or exit barrier and slide the access doors over on the blue bins. It is hilly, only one car can be allowed in by a fob access barrier. The track down to the park doesn't seem to belong to anyone or business, take your time going down!! The pub on site is small and staff friendly just remember to take your visitor card from welcome pack. Would like to stay here again, been to winsford so many times living in northwich (having work done at home) & didn't know this was here!! Perfect base.

The caravan site is over looking the wide part of the River Weaver. The site club is good. Only downside is the road leading to the park, it is very bump and full of pot holes. The holes are filled sometimes, but due to it being a gravel road, they soon appear again.

We owned a static caravan for 7yrs fantastic times spent with lots of friends very well laid out all with views over the lake you can own a boat and go out fishing or travel down the river and take a picnic

we stayed in a hire static, and it was spotless, heated and comfy , i would not hesitate to recommend it. however the approach road is a seriously pot holed track at best, i would guess the farm adjacent maybe owns the access and does nothing to improve it??. the site itself is really hilly just to bear in mind if mobility is an issue. great staff, the nearest town a mile or so away has sadly been "flattened and modernised" in the 80's to a concrete shopping centre, yuk, such is life folks, but dont plan a visit, just buy food and go. nice pub/eateries within a few miles. so make this a base to travel and you will benefit from a lovely site with great lake views and a generally lovely area.
