We stayed as a couple at Chestnut Cottage, Domineys in Buckland Newton in May 2017. The cottage was cosy, very clean and tidy, and had everything you need. The two bedrooms are attractive and comfortable. The gardens and arboretum are stunningly beautiful and guests are free to walk around them. Each cottage has a private patio area. The owners Jeanette...

The gardens, arboretum and surrounding area are absolutely stunning. The pool looked amazing (Although obviously it was out of season so we didn't go in). The owners, Jeanette and William, are lovely! They...

We had two great weeks at Domineys Yard .We stayed in Chestnut cottage which was very clean and comfortable with fresh flowers in the rooms . The gardens are beautiful and the use of the pool was fantastic .Buckland Newton is a great place in mid Dorset to visit the county . The owners are very welcoming .

There are 3 holiday cottages at Domineys, part of a terrace of 4 stone cottages which are next to the larger thatched stone detached house occupied by the owners. The 4th cottage is occupied by the owner's staff. The owners, Mr & Mrs Gueterbock are very friendly and helpful. What is so special about Domineys is the very large and...
